They definitely do not give the most expensive item free!! Why would they?!

To get more customers through the doors and sell more items.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Usually when something is three for the price of two there is a small written clause saying cheapest item free. There is no point to getting the most expensive item free - say you bought something for 60 quid and two items at 25, you are not going to get the 60 quid item free as they make more profit on that item. I would have thought its expensive item free on their three for twos.

It would be nice to get the dearest thing for free but it ain't going to happen.
    Profits??

I've never had the most expensive item at boots free. Why would they do that? So you buy two items for a fiver and then get a big set for 30 quid free? If that is the case then I'll be straight down to boots. What's the technique for doing this...any particular order to the items?

we got elle machpherson set FREE
and then i had a little nail gift set, a wallet and a mini botanics set and got THE WALLET FREE which was most expensive. :j

but the Elle macpherson on the list of the expensive items is the cheapest! Order by cost of item and then give the third, sixth etc...item free.

  • I think thats what they mean i.e

if you bought two £20 items, a £19 and two £2 and a £1, you would get the £19 item free and the £1, rather than a £2 and £1 item free

they list the items in cost order and you get every third item free...

  • I don't know if this is just a glitch, but has anyone noticed that they seem to have pulled all their online toys listings today?
