when i went to woolies they said the cheapest item is free and doesnt matter what order they can the items. did you really get the most expensive free? even boots, m&s and bhs etc etc who do 3 for 2 only give the cheapest free regardless of order scanned
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Just a note on how this works. I went into my local woolies today (note they had copies of the voucher printed out by the till but i took my own which they accepted). It doesn't take 20% off your final total, this is how it worked on my purchase (items as an example).

Box of Chocs £3 - took 20% off
Box of Chocs £4 - took 20% off
    Box of chocs £ 5 - free on 3 for 2 offer.

So if your clever and have items of different value always ensure that the most expensive goes through as the 3rd item as this is the item that will be deducted from your total.

I got £29 worth of chocs for £16!!!!

this isnt always the case i got 3for2 kids clothes and they were scanned through the till cheapest first (not planned just how they were scanned) but the cheapest item came off as free

My local Woolies (Yeovil), were not handing them out! I purchased a birthday card & told them at the till that my sister got a voucher from her local store, & did they have any? A disgruntled employee found one out & handed it over!

    I'm happy now!

  • There were no huge 20% off signs in the store but staff were handing out vouchers yesterday in Shrewsbury. When I got to till assistant automatically took off 20% without asking for the voucher and told me about 3 for 2 deal on Christmas chocolate selection packs, which meant I got 3 Cadbury selection packs which should have been £1 each for £1.40.:j

The discount is actually for 10% or 20% depending on what items you are purchasing.
Selection boxes (for example) will be 20% off.

    thanks for the post guys

Am i being really thick - can't see where to download it! have just regstered with file factory but can't find out how / where to download this

    Any help appreciated! thanks
File Factory is probably a bit more confusing than other free file hosting websites.
You shouldn't need to register to be able to download anything from there, thats for sure (I didn't even have to register to put the file on there to start with).

I did add a further link for downloading the vouchers though on the first post. For info though, it is http://www.megashare.co.uk/download.php?id=8873E3931 :)

I had this argument with my mum about buying more than 3 lots of choc in one go as she wanted to get some bars and some boxes.

She works for Boots and said they give the most expensive item free.

I've only ever heard of the cheapest item being given free but then I don't buy a lot of those offers anyway!
