  • Evening all,

just popping by to catch up - juggling placement & still feeling ill with the remains of the flu so not much OSing happening here. It's about all I can do to keep going... Did a stir-fry for supper though as I found a big Morrisons up towards the north of the county, where I was out & about today so thought it easier to get something quick to bring home for supper. Must go there again, I like it (and it's another shop we don't have here, along with Wilkinsons & Woolworths).

(((((((((((huge hugs))))))))))) to all those needing them, especially Stef, Taplady, Betheebee, Sybil, Candygirl, D&DD and all those others whose names I have not intentionally forgotten.

Hester, hope you enjoy the Rocky Road :)

Take care of yourselves all of you. xx

:hello: Just looking in quickly to send (((hugs))) to Pen pin, Smoky, Steph and dd, taplady, beth, D & DD and wannabe sybil

After walking Penny early this morning and then taking dd to the station, I didn't have the energy left to get into town for the M & S 20% off sale but managed to get all I wanted from their online site! 20% + 3 for 2 offers + an extra £10 off (not sure what this was for, maybe being a new customer!) So a £94 shop for £57 :j So if there is anything you need from M & S give it a look tonight as offer is one day only.

Early night tonight, dd has a migraine and has taken her yellow pill, so out like a light now! poor girl!
My joints are hurting tonight so I am tucked up, nice and warm, having taken my painkillers as well:D

    Night night!

    Catz x

  • Hi I am a lurker but wanted to say Hi.

OH and I have lots of debt and this thread in particular has been a great help. I got a SC several months ago and I love it. I have fibromyalgia and some days it takes me all my energy just to get me and the kids up and out to school let alone anything else.

Twinks hobnobs go down great in my house. Each day I do try and do something OS. I now use soda crystals in my washing machine. When I cook a chicken I don't just take the breast of for our dinner and binthe rest, I now get every bit of meat of the carcass to use for other meals.

Next thing you know you'll be using the carcass to make stock & enjoying some of the lovely soup recipes on here :)

Welcome to Old style longforthesun (love your user name)

There are loads of great ideas here, it certainly keeps me focused with all the challenges! I have cfs with a fair amount of pain and fatigue so know how hard it can be to keep going while pacing, ((hugs)))

  • floss2 I do make soup but must admit I buy stock cubes I may well try using the carcass for stock. Went to M&S today and got their 2 for 10 deal and got the chicken for the 4 of us for dinner tomorrow so may try making stock with this.

catzine I find the heat from the sun really helps my fibro so hopefully one day in the future we will move to the sun OH says I am like a different person when we go abroad. Sorry to hear you are in pain with you cfs.
