    Morning everyone
Interrupted sleep again with toddler - think it's a combination of after effects of chickenpox, disruption 'cos of decorator (paint smells, too?), & lots of toing & froing to do jobs for mum & see dad in hospital! Little 'un woke at 0500, had a drink & burbled to himself for an hour, but is still asleep!! :j
All dad's poorliness over recent months is apparently down to heart problems (exacerbated by him not taking care of himself or seeing doc far sooner! ), list of complaints too long to go into. Still, maybe he'll start listening to medical advice now (well, there's a first time for everything  ) & at least mum gets a break whilst he's in there!!
House is a midden, way behind with magazine stitching, Christmas preparations, shopping, cleaning...aaaarrggh!!!
Right, feel better for that - sorry, chaps! - you know how it goes!!
Off to get breakfast BY MYSELF :j see you all later.
Hugs & kisses from the neverending pot :grouphug:

Decidedly cooler here today, and with snow forecast in the next few days, time to dig the thermals out :D

Can't believe all the fuss about John Sergeant leaving Strictly, but I was winding someone up the other day about him, and they were incensed that he was still in it. I just think it is all going to be very boring and serious without him.

Got some boxes to take to the charity shop, does anyone know if they take videos ? Last time I went, they didn't want books, and aren't keen on china unless it is something good.

Pasta for lunch, and not sure what's for dinner, so will go and have a rummage in the freezer.

(( Hugs )) to Stefejb and her daughter, and anyone else who needs one x

    Morning all :D
This weeks been a nightmare, appointments every day and have 2 social workers coming home this morning(they seem to be sending everyone to me in pairs!) Hospital tomoz with DS3..

DS2 is home today he's done 3 days (2 lessons a day) and its been a bit too much I think so he's currently lounging about on the couch..

Had the most awful news yesterday OH's dad was in for an op on his liver(they found a small tumour) but when they opened him up the liver was shot to pieces so they just closed him up again.. we only lost his Mum to it 3 years ago I'm just not sure how much more carp our family can take TBH..

Worst thing is we can't get down there as he lives in Bognor but is in Basingstoke for the op.I can't leave the boys and OH just can't face it on his own even if he could get away..which he can't because he's needed here. It's an awful feeling but we just can't physically do it let alone cope with it mentally :( I feel like I'm letting OH and dear FIL down..
Sorry for such a depressing post so early in the day :o

Hugs to all those needing them this morning

D&DD, can you get respite care for a quick trip to visit OH's dad? Maybe the social workers could help pull some strings for it. :grouphug:

Morning everyone. A real gloomy one here today, came to work in the twilight zone.

Sold a load of rubb... er stuff on e-bay, apparently I'm only one point away from a bluestar, whatever that is. Tea is a prawn curry made with YS prawns for Asda.

Hope everyone has a good one, D&DD, sorry to hear your news, I hope you get to see him soon.

think my DH could do with one of those. he either keeps me awake snoring or I lie awake waiting for him to take the next breath. although when he was tested for sleep apnoea they said he had minimal symptoms:confused: not by my reckoning he hasnt!

kids off to see nemo on ice tonight think they will enjoy that
chicken stroganoff and rice for tea (whoopsied chicken legs from mr T)

    house is clean

ironing done ( more washing to be done though)

Hi everyone, hugs to all who need them. Morning started early , kids off to school DH off to work and then I begun transforming under the stairs into one of two pantries I have planned. ;) So busy moving and getting rid of crap all morning, made a batch of Twinks Hob nobs in between though! Have friends four children over after school whils she takes her father to the hospital plus my three, so house full for tea. Have a box of chicken gougon thingies in the freezer and will make some HM chips, that should sort that one out.
Not sure about hubby yet, did get some yellow sticker mince in Mr T yesterday so perhaps make a chilli as not sure what time he will be home.
Weather not too bad today started out misty buy the sun is trying to shine now.
Really must try and start thinking about Christmas, been busy trying not to:rotfl:
