Did you log in to the website and choose to wait until maturity for your fixed rate account.

That's what I did and I got the form with no option of being paid instantly or waiting until maturity because I'd already chosen to wait until maturity.
Exactly. The form I received is based on the premise that I am waiting for the account to mature before payment. Therefore there is no option box relating to that choice. i.e. this is a different form to the one which is being sent to people getting non-computerised payments.

    Same here.

We had 2 joint accounts, both being left to maturity, both in my name as 1st holder and wife as 2nd.

We received 2 forms one addressed to each of us, both identical, both covering both accounts and each form requiring signing in triplicate by both of us???????:D
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Seems strange that joint account holders have to sign two separate forms, put them in separate envelopes and post them back. With all the thousands of signed forms pouring back to the warehouse, how on earth are they going to match the two jointly held account forms back up again? I notice they're all bar coded, so perhaps they put them through a scanner? I suppose they know what they're doing and I hope the process works. If refunds for fixed term accounts proceed as smoothly as the previous process, we'll have no complaints.
  • no forms and the post has been
  • I just spoke to lovely man at fscs and they are still in the process of sending forms out in batches so no panics just patience required
  • Hi Kittie,

Apologies to those whose bonds have matured or are maturing soon and haven't received the paper forms yet, but I received mine last Saturday 20th and my bond doesn't mature until August 2009 !
  • Well, my wife received the money on Friday, for the fixed rate bond that matured on the 31/12/08, so took just over three weeks to receive it, from when it matured.
