Icesave Fixed Rate Bonds

  • Ive just been told by the FSCS that all forms for paper applications for fixed rate bonds were sent on Friday of last week and Monday and Tuesday of this week.

    I was told that as far as they were concerned the mail shot was now complete. There was no ambiguity.

    So now we play the waiting game......

    They must be using 2nd class mail, otherwise those sent Friday and Monday will have been received by now. Does not seem to be a deluge of posts saying "I just received my paperwork"

    For others to benchmark delays if relevant:
    As a 'no linked ac' paper claimer I received my claim docs 21Nov.
    I elected to let my FTB run to maturity (mid Jan 09);
    and to claim the £400ish that was in the 'easy access' account. The claims were returned to FSCS 22 Nov.
    I have received my easy ac cheque today, 19th December.:smiley:

    BTW cheque no was in the 8000 range if that may be useful...
  • Received my form today! Now I've got to type in the numbers of all my accounts - AGAIN. To be honest I can't see why this should be necessary. They have got all my details already. Two of my 5 FTDs have matured now,so I'm hoping to get a cheque SOON. Then I can transfer it to a still decent rate - till that one runs out! Then where....???
  • My fixed rate account was due to mature around the 20th of november.

    When I got my email, I logged in to my icesave account and then chose to wait until maturity date for my fixed rate account. This was on the 20th.

    I was expecting the forms from the FSCS shortly after that but none have materialised.

    Sounds like others are still waiting for their forms too. So fingers crosse dI'll get mine soon

    I tried to log in to my icesave account but it won't let me in now. Says my details are incorrect. Anyone else getting this?
