Can you point out what bit is grief that those with New Star fund investors will have to deal with? I cant spot it in that articleI am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Well Dunstonh, I stand by my assertion that the funds are there to make money and where they don't a major emergency should be sounded and the investors should be offered some chance to recover their loss i.e. move to a better performing fund at a discounted rate......simple civility that.:TLove your son.0

You can do that already. I can switch from one fund to another via my broker, usually at no cost.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

HL let you but you have to tell them in advance. They order on the 10th. Not sure I can ring them up on Monday and ask to swap or if its too late. Just lame as they sent out an email today saying don't buy anymore New Star funds.... :cool:0
