Back ontopic! The JK files are only hanging with the rest of the nail stuff in my local, SEL £3. However I've noticed on the JK stand that there is still a £2 label but the shelves completely bare. Any chance I could get them from the nail bit then argue that it says £2 else somewhere in the shop? Doubt it'll matter anyway as prob won't be any left when I go back.

My apologies if this opens up a new can of worms but I feel that I have a right to get my point across, just like other people have over the past 24 hours.

I'm sorry if the posting yesterday upset/offended some people as it contained no 'useful information' to themselves. It was not a post that was meant to come across as 'i know something you don't know'. All I wanted to get across is that the date for the sale has been confirmed. I'm not willing to publish this information though, which is what i pointed out as otherwise the forum would be full of 'please tell' and that would wind people up even more (looking back, no matter what i posted, i was in a no win situation). To be as an outsider, I would see it as informative, as it shows that dates have been set for it to commence and now would be eager to find out when it was. Obviously not everybody sees it from my point of view, which I don't expect to. (see my last paragraph below)

I don't post to deliberatly wind people up. I only post, to the best of my knowledge, factual information (for example, the TS's on the SS). I don't post abusive posts (although I have felt like it in the past, it is not in my nature to do anything like that). Yes I do have a very light hearted sense of humour, as it hopefully shows in some of my posts. If you don't get the humour, i'm sorry, but sometimes things in here need lightening up.

With regards to passing new infomation to only a select few, surely this is what the facebook group was doing a few weeks ago? (this is not an comment made to wind people up, just my opinion)


At the end of the day, I don't expect everybody to see my point, but thats what makes the world we live in a great place. Imagine if everybody had the same opinion. Everybody liked the same things. The world would be very boring indeed.

you could always try..just say you went to JK stand to get them but it was empty.you then spotted them in nail bit and just grabbed them, expecting them be £2 as on JK stand....worth a shot:D

You should still get the till spit for things on the pharmacy backwall. things that we have to ring through on the dump code 'dispensary sales' or 'pharmacy sales' won't as they are not on the system and they aren't usually stocked by us. These tend to be special order items more often than not.

Facebook group was set up in JULY
Facebook group was set up so we could be nosey at each others pictures etc
Facebook group has NEVER been used to pass on information to a select few

Had a night off from t'internet last night and the razor glitch has moved on!!!

Thanks minx01, sinw and mrsbluebear - I have finished my christmas shopping but fancy a couple of treats for me with my points (I normally spend them on clothes for the girls!) so may as well have free razors for hubby.

Can't believe I am posting at 5.30 in the morning - can't sleep yet I feel knackered!!

know what you mean jam - my 2yo decided he wasn't going to sleep from 11:30 last night just spent most of the night jumping in his cot laughing and trying to wake up his brother, i lost track how many times i went in gave him his dummy and wrapped him back up sooooo tight lol

am staying in today to wait for my .com order, also has anyone else had an email from m and s about online shopping from the 20% day, they have delayed my order for another 10 days, i would like the christmas cards before christmas :rotfl:
