The parenting club membership, I phoned to change my details on p/c as i had registered for it, then had a m/c, but I'm preganant now again, and even though online I had removed the other pregnancy, it was still on my card.
Also had registred dh for p/c before i read that only 1 parent was meant to use p/c, so asked for it to be removed totally from dh card, and c/s said both parents were allowed to register for and use the p/c to take advantage of double points and offers/coupons as long as both had a card.
So we are both registered for the p/c now and c/s checked and said it was defo ok.

i would definately check this again ....both parents are allowed to have a advantage card but only 1 parent is allowed to register / sign up the child if its at same address
i had my cards withdrawn because my partner had my daughter on his and also on mines and Mr B is refusing to discuss it with me ....i lost £27 + but i know others that have lost more in the last few months

this really happend to me the other week in Boots and Asda .... had been to the bank and all they gave out the atm was £20 notes and went to Boots and the SA only gave me change of a £10 was about to put it in my purse when i remembered it was £20 ...by chance she didnt have a £10-00 in her till at the time .......happened again a few hrs later to in Asda ....SA said she had done it twice that day

but think it is hard to believe anyone who Claims to have lost their purse / wallet or got the wrong change .... or wether they are genuine

Reeeeeeeeeeeally showing my age now ..... but similar thing happened to my Aunt over 70 years ago, with a mix-up over her £1 note, which the SA swore was a ten shilling note (50p). History lesson for anyone under 40-ish - these amounts were considered high enough to warrant being a note and not coins!

Since then, she always said "Sorry, I've only got £1 - do you have change please?", which got updated over the years to £5, £10, £20 etc. And I say this too now. She also said to make sure I spoke loud enough for someone else in the shop to hear. Sometimes I have to yell, as nobody is nearby!

Felt really rough this week (I have BC), but 2 friends kindly came round today to take me out for a bit. They suggested a drive in the country and a pub lunch, and looked at me as if I was mad when I asked if we could go to Boots! Didn't buy a lot, but just HAD to use some blueys!

I don't like blueys. They just don't have the same oomph about them like the Pinkies and t/spits, do they. Are they going to be reinstated for the month of December? That would be soooooo nice!

I had a foot spa years ago and it did nothing. They sound so wonderful in the descriptions, but they're pretty useless, lol. I think they're probably no better than just filling a little tub with hot water and foot soak (which actually doesn't do too much for me, either). I would take it back and say it doesn't work, as it literally doesn't do anything for your feet, lol.

LOL. Thanks SKIBSTER. You're a honey. Seriously, if you look at the box it says it will do everything, but it actually does nothing. You are right, it's like putting feet in a tub of hot water. No funky vibrations or twisty turny things. Seriously, I'm not impressed. Lugged that huge flamin' box all the way home only to find out it's pants! I can't say much for the NO 7 massagery thing. From now on, I am staying well and truly clear of these electrical things. They stink, big time! I'm tempted to take both back, though will probably just hurl the NO 7 massagery thing in the bin, it only cost £10 or something!

CCMUMMY, now you tell me. LOL. Trust me, you DON'T want one. You might as well just fling your feet in a tub or hot water. It's the same effect!

HOTPOT4, that's hilarious. I am staying well clear from these Foot Spa things.

Anyone know of any good buys with the BLUES? Mine really are collecting up now, have about 12.

Also, if you buy the Beecham 5 pack (with 100 points ACM voucher), they are giving a free box of Vitamin C powder drink trial pack. This has a voucher in it for £2.50 off a £10.00 spend on healthcare. It starts the day after the BLUE healthcare one runs out. Unlike the current BLUE, it's on ANY healthcare, does not specify certain brands. Hope this helps someone.

Can anyone tell me what the elle set or the elle bags are like??

    Many thanks
    Ginga

I just bought one of the elle sets for a friend. They look really nice - whether they are really worth the full RRP or not I don't know, but for £17.50 it seemed a good deal. The bottles are all a decent size and I've had Elle stuff before. I'll be tempted to keep it for myself.

If you go to the Christmas section on the Boots site it's on the main page.

I managed to spend over £45 and got free delivery too. Plus I gained £13.25 in points :j

Also - I also bought an elle £8 gift bag for my mother too.
    Looking forward to the future.

    Evening all,

Went to the Oxford Retail Park Boots today and saw the No 7 High Lights Illuminating Lotion for the first time! My local has not had this in stock- looks fab :j.

My sister took a shine to both of the shades and has asked for them for Christmas- it's annoying as I would have snapped them up while the pinkies were valid if my local had stocked them- instead I ended up using up my last few pinkies of hand saviours

Anyways does anyone know if these are part of the limited edition Christmas range, or will they are permanent addition? Don't want to pay full price if I can avoid it, but don't want to miss out on them either!

Oh and if any has any spare ones they would like to swap for a hand saviour just give me a shout!!

    Poor you!
Well, rather topical for you at the mo, some footcare sets work with the £2 off wys £8 on health care, so put your foot up and get pampered!
this one works http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=124390 (thanks ezzmo) also the scholl stuff (thanks footmadgal) but probably lots of the ther footcare stuff as well
Or the roc facial wipes (99p) or the Olay total effects radiance enhacing cream facial wash (99p) with the £5 skin care bit

speaking of footcare and the bluey: is it working with flexitol stuff? TIA

Note: on the website, footcare is under health and pharmacy, so it should work. But I wanted to check beforehand. there is nothing more annoying than asking an SA to do several price and offer checks, and say 'I'll be back' at the end of it.

Just checking netimka, you bought the 6 in the same transaction, right? and the VitC went through free or were merely given to you after the transaction by the SA? TIA
