just a quickie for all you experts, do the points machines have the same offers for your card at every store, regardless of the store size?

    thanks in advance
Some offers may differ slightly from one ACM to another, eg: total spend points. All Boots stores should accept your vouchers wherever you printed them off, even if they don't have an ACM in that store, don't let them tell you any different.

Different stores seem to have different offers but from a larger pool of offers iyswim?
One really big store had only 2 offers for me, the other big one seems to have the highest total spend voucher (300 wys £35), whereas all the others are smaller amounts (200 wys £25), and my small local has the most total product offers. If I'm planning a big shop (like a points event) I might visit all three to get the most vouchers and then find a nice SA who will let me combine them all. The product point offers have a long date on them so it's worth printing them out when you see them, even if you don't think you want that item at the moment, you never know whe a glitch might turn up. The total spend points vouchers can only be spent on that day (but in any store) so I only print them if I know I'm going to use them. hth
  • Has anyone tried these straighteners the ones on offer of the week?

i was thinking of spending around £50 on them as part of DSD's birthday pressie thought these looked nice and the red metallic bag they come in is fab too..or has anyone else got any recommendations on any other for around £50?
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I was thinking about these, but in the end I went for the babylis pro 230 (1/2 price £29.99) as after much advice on here someone said so long as the temp was 230 it would do the job. Someone also said they had heard that the the little fin things get tangled in the hair?
I think a couple of people also recomended the remmington gold set.
And everyone seems to love GHD's but they are too pricey and oos.
Now I'm dithering again because the red one does look nice, I don't pick up my order until thurs, so if you do try them let us know what they are like!
if you follow thru a couple of posts after my original (1127 on this page http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=16197221&highlight=babyliss#post16197221) there is lots of advice and details

Does anyone know whether there will be any more Christmas nights with the extra 1000points offer?

Was not going to be spending anymore on Xmas presents so did not go to last one but have decided to treat myself to a new digital camera and want to try and get the best deal possible. ;)
