Good afternoon all, new to this thread, and the nappy glith caught my eye but think I must have been far too late to get it! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who puts the ime and effort in to let people know of these things and has anyone got any advise on how to make the most of the glitches? Im thinking is it best to write a list? I love my advantage card and would love to boost points too! Felt a little silly when buying vitamins in boots today and not knowing what other things to take advantage of!
Anyway enough of my waffling! TIA:j :j :j:A0 -

I can also see that Boots have already reduced some items inline with the reduced vat coming in Monday does anyone know if the likes of straighteners and make up will have the reduced vat too? as I am sure these are classed as luxuries rather than essentials
(sorry if I seem like a skinflint but I would rather wait a couple of days as order wouldn't be dispatched until next week and rather have the coppers in my pocket than Mr B's)This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. great shop I will look out for herbal essenses, DD likes them - thanks
re: the razors, £7.82, (they were £7.99) does that mean they have changed the VAT on them, and have they done it across all vat-able products?
Definately 7.82, im looking at the receipt as i type and a discount of 3.91 on each but yes that would make sense, if my maths is up to scratch
7.99 - 2.5% = 7.82
that would also explain why the roc wipes were 5.86 before bluey
nothing extra off the lynx items though0 -
Anyone anywhere near Doncaster store - they have quite a few l'oreal revitalift anti-wrinkle sets in clearance. Contain day and night cream. Reduced to around £10.45 (£5.45 with a bluey). Seemed a good deal to me. Got one a couple of weeks ago but noticed they had more today.0

Hi all when I clicked on this link (for the Botanics face pamper set) its showing as £1.84 down from £1.95. Im assuming this is because of the VAT free thing :TYour fooling no one bar yourself.0 -
yes, looking at mimi's and xdaisyx posts, the VAT is now reduced to the 15% level, so watch your qualifying spends for any points or GWP's peeps as the sels may still have the pre change prices but the till will have the correct prices!0

Hi Choccie and welcome :T
The best way to take advantage of all the glitches? My advice would be to print off all the offers you are given from the ACM and to get hold of the H&B magazine (free to AC holders) and keep all the vouchers, even the most boring looking offer can turn to your advantage if a glitch turns up later in the month.
Keep an eye on this thread and on the first couple of posts which CPG updates as often as she can.
The best way to take advantage of the online glitches seems to be to grab them as soon as you can, if you want the items. Mr B soon fixes them and/or the items tend to go out of stock quickly once they are posted here.
Last but not least, if there's anything you don't understand then just ask, you'll soon get [STRIKE]addicted[/STRIKE] the hang of it0 -
Hi everyone,
Just catching up on the last few days as work completely prevented me from bootsing this week.
But i cut through boots last night on my way to the car park and noticed a girl at the ACM being asked to enter her DOB on the screenDoes this mean boots have now introduced some of security measures for our cards, or is it maybe just to do with HC/PC registration? If i hadn't been in such a hurry i would have just been a complete nosy parker and asked the poor girl:o.
AM - those babylis straighteners get great reviews, you can have a read through some really helpful reviews on amazon. I just got ghds in september otherwise i'd have snapped them up, as a lot of peeps say they are just as good of not better than ghds :starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

A good tip,(sorry, cant remember who) is to make a list then paper clip all the relevant vouchers to it, saves you loosing them in the bottom of your bag, someone else uses a min photo album type thing, I use a clear plastic envelope.
btw the nappy glitch might be back, I've seen it come and go a few times, but, when it's on you do have to be quick, I dithered for a few mins and was too late :eek:0
