Hi all just to say that I was in my local Alliance Pharmacy and they sell some Boots stuff and I asked if I bought stuff would I get the points if I took the receipt to Boots. There happened to be a couple of guys from Boots in the shop at the time so the SA went and asked them. She came back and said no, not yet, but when the change over happens, (in March/April) they will have the tills in the chemist to add your points on. Yay. Sorry if this has already been posted before. Hope it helps tho, if not.Your fooling no one bar yourself.0

Hello Peeps,
Sorry it's off topic but just wanted to let people know that I had a baby boy on the 11th November weighing an eye-watering 10 pounds. We're both doing well. Chuffed I get to use the acronym DS now!!
Haven't been on here for ages and am trying to catch up. Have read about the razor glitch which is fab, will try that tomorrow. What was the nappy glitch on .com and is there anything else that I've missed out on? Sorry to be cheeky but the last time I was on was 3 threads ago! Blimey this site moves fast....hate to think what glitches I've missed out on haha!

Congratulations!
Welcome to another baby Bootser - what did you call him?
I don't think you've missed much to be honest - we're lamenting the missing pinkies :rotfl:Blues just won't do!0 -

Congratulations Nuninge! 10 pounds?!
I think the nappies are OOS now, sorry. I'd never noticed it before but apparently it's a glitch that comes and goes just now, thanks Mrs to be.0 -
It took us a long time to decide on a name as I was convinced we were having a girl but I'd always liked Logan so that's what he became and I can't think of him being called anything else now....which is just as well cos we registered his birth yesterday.
:T
Have just looked at the glitch and noticed that the nappies are for newborn..up to about 11 pounds I think as these were the ones we had been using...doubt he'll fit those ones for long with a birth weight of 10 pounds so will need to look out for other glitches.

Also they had the S&G Admit it gift boxes – these were on the very bottom shelf of the main S&G stand and there were about 6 or so left after I took my 3. I also managed to find the Botanics little boxes for £1.95 – again these were on the bottom shelf of the Botanics stand (although these are not on 342). That takes care of several Xmas pressies!
I also had 2 of the £5 skin care vouchers and bought 2 Time Delay Wrinkle Reduce eye creams at £6.99 each, so paid £1.99 each after using the vouchers.
Also bought 3 tubes of Boots Multivitamins, £2.99 each, on 342 and used £2 voucher so £4 for the 3!
The SA couldn’t believe her eyes at the savings – after first of all telling me that the razors were NOT on 342 – she was amazed when she put them through and they were!
I worked out that I spent £31 and saved £69 and got approx £5 worth of points as well. Very pleased!
I was hoping to get the EA eye shadow with the Prima voucher, but they don’t stock it at Westwood X – does anyone know if you can get it from Canterbury as that is the next nearest to me?
Thanks so much to everyone who posts all the offers and glitches!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Just to let you know that I purchased (amongst other things) -
Beechams Honey and Lemon 5s -£1.85
Zovairax - £5.99
16 Paracetamol - £0.36
I also picked up a packet of the Instant Vitality Vitamin C and Probiotic sachets (thanks to OP) for free.
I used my 100 points on beechams, I thought I would be cheeky and use the £2.00 Healthcare voucher to see if it worked (didnt know whether it was all healthcare or just the brands listed and footcare). The voucher worked
Then the SA told me to get another Vitamin C sachet pack. Looking at my receipt it is free with beechams and another free with the zovairax. So it may be per item rather than per transaction and was confused as to why it was on cold sore treatment.
I managed to bargain shop in other stores than boots today as well
I know there are a few Reading bootsters on here (this may or may not intrest you depends on what you like) but the Billabong Outlet shop in the Broad Street Mall has approx 30 % off all items AND buy 2 get third item for £1 and it is across the whole store (mens, womens etc) I think it ends on Monday. Just thought I would let you know if anyone has a shopping trip planned for the weekend.:A Totally addicted to MSE :A0 -

Congratulations:T :T 10lbs!!
WoW, no wonder your eyes watered, mine are just thinking about it. The heaviest of mine was just over 9lbs.
Your DS must look 3 months old already.
Good luck in finding the nappy glitches, they will certainly come in handy. Looks like the one on dot.com is already busted. But they may have been too small for your big fella.~ What goes around comes around ~0
