Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 44 - Post your finds here

Another mundane shopping day for me today, mainly all razors with the occasional gift thrown in for good measure, like the Dove Set, Boots Gorgeous Feet Set, or the Men's Nivea Gift Set, with the 2 x razors. I've since seen the Nivea for Men sets in HB for £3.95 so if you need these as gifts, try Home Bargains first. But I got this

and this

but in the same box. It had been reduced to £10 and it took the £5 bluey off, so only had to pay £5. (Thanks to the SA who 'suggested' I bought it. I wasn't sure whether it was a helpful hint about how to get rid of a blue voucher or a bit of anti-ageing advice)
Those razors are driving me batty now. When my OH buys something that's a 'bargain', he tends to buy them repeatedly  lol, but I didn't mind too much as I knew they'd make a half decent gift for the lads at work. Except they don't need them as they've been buying them in the pub ... for £7 each!
I didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or set up a stall outside my local :rotfl:
There was some other clearance items that I bought earlier in the week, so when I remember what they were, I'll post them up in case they're worth looking out for in your locals.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

Picked up some more razors and some S&G sets, kicked myself silly when i got there and saw the massive sign for the extra points event. sadly couldnt stay till 3pm and missed out on loads of points.

Hi Mishka, I have recently posted about the Hydro Quench range being reduced. I bought mine in a Large city centre branch with 2 floors.I haven't been in any Boots stores since, so I don't know if it is any of the smaller branches.
If you use this range, best keep looking as these reductions were very recent as in last Satuday. Good luck.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Forgot to say that as well as the camera headache the acm's were not working instore so although I was buying a fair bit no points or offers to be had.

ANyhow a lovely morning of Bootsing. If I take the JK Wipes back do you reckon I will lose my points? Or shoudl I give them as pressies and pretend not to notice the dates.....
...
You may or may not lose the points, dependent on the SA, but I'd risk losing them as I'd feel bad giving an expired gift just so I could have points for myself. I won't even buy any of these wipes for myself to get the points as they've all been expired. Maybe if you take them back, you could ask if they have more in the stockroom -- it's quite possible they are holding new stock back until the older stuff sells. And if they don't have any, once you point out that all the stock is outdated they may order more and you could repurchase while the points are still on offer.0 -

Not sure if it helps, but they 'hide' these nearer to the dispensary in one local store.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
