Well, I would take it back, and say "it's ineffective, and fails to meet the statutory rules of description, as per the Consumer Credit Act 1998, Section 3, paragraph 2, sub-section 95". I just made that up! But it sounds good doesn't it!

What a palava with these JK files. I found a JK stand in one store, with the label clearly showing £2, but no files. Bought 5 packets of ROC wipes with blueys, got 5 more blueys back.

Went into another branch, no stand, no files, but ROC wipes galore, bought another 3, got 3 more blueys.

Went into another branch, loads of files, but the printed label was covered with a white sticky label!!!!! Picked up 2, till showed £3 each. Told SA this was an error, and invited her to remove sticky label.

Store was virtually empty (the 5 floor one at Oxford Street!), so 5 SAs came over, and one removed the sticky label, and lo! There was the £2 label underneath.

Then one SA went to get the key to over-ride the price, I bought my 2, and I was awarded 500 points. All the SAs crowded round to look, and one said to me "how can that be? You're getting £5 back for a £4 spend", so I said "oh goodness, would you believe it, so I am", took the two blueys given, bought 2 more ROC cleansing wipes, got 2 more blueys.

Have enough ROC wipes now to give all females an extra present of a packet of wipes with their extremely cheap Boots 3 for 2 gift, bought with pinkie and till spit, plus about 6 months worth for myself.

All men are getting a razor as well as their main gift, and all presents will be beautifully presented in a lovely one penny gift bag. But the main thing is, as well as saving so much money, thanks to all you lovely Bootsers ...... I've enjoyed myself so much!

So thank you everybody so much, you are all making an Old Lady very happy!

I bought three different sets on the 3 4 2, one of them was a No 7 set for £18, and it wasn't until after I had bought it, I realised I only had to spend another £2 and could have got the GWP!

I am thinking of taking it back and getting a refund, then buying it again with something else to get me the GWP but I am not sure if they will refund me the whole £18?

Technically I did pay the full amount for it as it was another set that I got for free as it were, so does anyone think that I will be able to take it back, get a refund and then purchase it again (at another till) with something else and then get the GWP?

There were signs in the Maidstone Boots saying that you now only had to send £18 on No 7 to get the free GWP

Hey everyone!!

Been to my local evening event today spent £53 and earned £40 points!! yeah!!

Just wanted to ask some advise - i wanted to order some goods to the value of £80 off .com (stock not available in stores) and just wanted to check if the current .com offer of 1000 points when you spend £70 was th best .com offer we have had recently - or do you think i should chance it that there will be an even better offer in the upcoming weeks???

In southampton high street store 2day i got 2 jk files 4 £3 each plus the 500 points and

I also noiced that u only had to spend £18 to get the No7 ladies GWP

ooh it says £18 on .com as well!

Should I take my receipt in tomorrow and see if they will give me a GWP? I didn't pay on the No 7 till so maybe the SA didn't realise?

A big thank you to SINW :A for the eye dazzle voucher. took ages but SA finally got it to work today.
Ealier bought 6 jk nail files and got 1500 points.

Then later got 3 x Elle ootw £35
1 jk file £3
1 jk wipes £3.50 (only noticed when I got home)
2 x 17 wipes £5.98
Shampoo 2 4 £4
Deod 2 4 £4
Choc bar 40-ish pence

Maths isn't brilliant and can't get receipts to look at right now but..

Roughly came to £56 but eye dazzle voucher wouldn't scan cos other vouchers had been used (so said manager). Then it came to me in a flash - remove 17 wipes and put through seperately. Total of other stuff then came to £50.02 phew!!!

Got 1000 points for £50 spend
500 from last event
250 acm
500 jk points
plus normal points.

Couldn't get any 17 gwp as there were none left

Total spend today £75 ish
Total points today 3900 :j

Take your receipt in, you only have to spend £18 now to get the GWP, they should see from your receipt that you didn't get one, and if they say you don't get a GWP with xmas gifts, tell them lots of your 'friends' have.
