Started browsing this thread last night and got mighty confused trying to work out the abbreviations in the posts hahaha, think I might become addicted to this thread, though I need to get a new AC sorted since the pin fell outta my old one about a year ago and I keep forgetting to request a replacement (I am hoping they will still transfer the £13 odd i had on the old card?)

Anyway, I went into a big Boots store today in Belfast and tried to get the 2 JK nail files (which were going through the til as £3/£2.99) to get the 500 points (I think I read back a few pages that this could be done), but they weren't showing up as giving points on the til, so did not buy them - I was not happy lol

They had just received a delivery of the Elle OOTW vanity cases (at least a full cage load) and were stocking up the shelves when I was in, so if anyone is in Belfast, the store in Donegall Place had loads this evening HTH someone!

PS. DON'T ever use PALMERS COCOA BUTTER lip balm. It bloody dries out your lips and my poor beauties have now started to crack! Boohoo.

I was in the Maidstone branch this evening, and there were piles of the Elle OOTW in 2 or 3 places in the store. Every few minutes there was an announcement over the tannoy about the Elle offer, but nobody seemed to be even looking at them.

No "Admit It, You Want Me" sets to be seen, and when I asked a member of staff she knew which ones I meant, but said they were "ages ago" so they wouldn't have any now.

I've had 3 ladies' No 7 GWP now, and they all have the pale pink nail varnish in.

I can confirm that the JK offer worked for me in the big boots on Royal Avenue in Belfast. I bought two packs of wipes though, which I might bring back if I see any nail files.
didn't see any tonight.

Just got back from xmas shopping night. Spent £58.84 and got £22.14 back in points, using:

double points - 464
250 ACM for spending over £30
500 from lastxmas night

Very pleased as using Boots logic my shopping only cost £36.70 for:

My Insolence perfume - £29.00
8 pack of fusion razor blades - £15.48
x 2 Wilkinson Sword Razors - £7.98

Extra bottle of coke - 51p
x 2 Cadbury buttons large bags - 75p
Always - £1.89

I messed up on the razors though - was so excited I'd finally found them but they only had two and forgot to pick up another gift to get them 3 for 2, so ended up paying for them separately. Does anyone know if I took them back tomorrow whether there would be any problems getting a refund on them??

Thats Donegall Place, Royal Avenue is where Castle Court is

You prob didn't find any nail files cos I'd lifted the last two just after 5ish but when they didn't give me the extra points I said I didn't want to buy them, so the girl left them beside the til over at one of the other makeup counters.
I must try the wipes tomorrow on the way home maybe, would you mind telling me which wipes work?

I didn't see any buffers but I didn't know all the details of the offers, I had just seen a people mentioning the nail files on here as i was reading through just before i went to bed last night (wasn't paying full attention cos i was shattered) so tried them.
Not sure why they didn't work, the SA said they were coming up with 2 stars but that a lot of products were doing that and she didn't know what that meant.
The SA was from the Benefit counter I think and when I said I didn't want them cos it wasn't giving the points she mentioned that their products automatically brought up the 500points so the JK files mustn't be on it.
