Recommendations for a twin tuner PVR?

Argos. £129 with a free £10 gift voucher until Saturday. Refurbs even cheaper from various sources. Can you tell me where I can get a Humax 9200T or 9300T for £119? I'll buy every single one they've got.
No. Did your £15 a month include installation of the dish which many people will need?Does that also include a free aerial upgrade which many people will need?
No. The Humax can record from two different muxes. The watched channel can be on either of those muxes. And if you are introducing a Freeview TV into the equation, then obviously, someone with a Humax can do what you can and more.A Humax can only allow you to record two and watch a third if it's on the same MUX as the two being recorded. However I can record 2 and watch a third on the built in freeview in the TV.
Fair point. That's why I'm buying a Humax Freesat PVR.And there's a far wider amount of channels on Satellite, even taking out the subscription ones.
In addition, with the increase in HD broadcasts, the very last thing I'd want to be doing this year is buying a PVR that doesn't support HD.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

The new Humax PVR due out end of the month supports HD and its free HD you can use the existing sky dish and no monthly costs plus it is a twin pvr and when you select SD as source to record apparently if its in HD is prompts use. The remote is also multi functional0

Good point stompa, but not until 2011...until then she is stuck with a cr&p communal council aerial in the loft space of the flats, and digital reception is very poor and inconsistant....no ITV, channel 4 or 5, which have all her favourite programmes (apart from jugde judy!?!) takes allsorts!
Im thinking that with a bit of luck the council may have to upgrade it come 2011, as they dont allow tennants to have their own aerial or sky dish, then she may get a humax..
FWIW my understanding was that when the analogue signal is switched off they'll be increasing the signal strength of the digital transmissions.Stompa0 -

Yes I believe that is correct. One of the reasons why digital is low power is that if its high power in can effect analogue reception
Yes I agree. I wish they'd just get on with it, we get a perfect digital signal 80% of the time, but usually when it's very cold/clear, we lose reception on many channels (whichever of those MUXs are affected), including annoyingly BBC1 and 2, so have to switch back to analogue, 5 is the other one that often drops out, mind you not missing much
