How very well done for speaking to your mum about moving out in future. Sounds like it was a positive, forward-looking discussion for both of you. Glad to hear you have already started the Timmy&GaryPad savings fund.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Not exactly a massive prize but I won a Red Hot Chilli Peppers CD today. Should be able to clear £5-£10 off my credit card with that - every little helps
I'm still waiting for that massive cheque through the post though:whistle:

Hi everyone
Just posting a little update. I've been off work sick (again  ) - I've coughed so hard that I have burst a blood vessel in my lung (sounds worse than it is). I just need to rest up for a bit which I have been doing.
It gives me lots of time to enter my competitions. I've won a few more bits and pieces, the best being a Sky Gnome which I can sell on Ebay for around £40 so that will come straight off my Capital One card. I also won a DVD of an old sitcom (name escapes me) which I have already sold for £15. I've won a total of 13 prizes so far this month and the postie hasn't been yet today so I really want to get up to 15 prizes if I can. I'm going to aim for 20 prizes next month
I need to sort some presents out for next month - I've already ordered some cards from Moonpig with some left over credit I had in my account from a competition win so that's a mother's day card and my gran's birthday card sorted.
Unless I win something in the meantime, I'm going to try and swap another voucher I have got for an M&S one that I can give my gran for her birthday. Not sure what to do about my mum, I have got another £10 high street voucher that I could use but I really wanted to keep that for buying easter eggs. I've still got a couple of weeks left so I will see what I can do. My boyfriend and I have decided not to buy anything for our anniversary.
For April, I need to get Easter eggs for people (my sister, brother-in-law, boyfriend, mum & my 4 cousins) although I might see if I can win little things for them all (I only spend a couple of quid on each). It's also my mum's birthday on the 11th and I would love to win her something really special so I will get started on that all the way through March.
Of course, it's my birthday too in April so if I can win myself a little treat then that would be great.

I forgot to mention that I have paid off another £50 from my Capital One card (monthly payment) so that has come down a bit. Once I've got all my prizes, I have hoping to get it below £900.
I received one prize I had been waiting for this morning. It's a So...? gift set. It's perfect for one of my cousins for Easter so that's one down

Well done! Sorry to hear that you've not been well, but sounds like you're making the most of being at home. I just tried to search your thread for the answer to my next qu but the site keeps crashing and on the third attempt I thought I'd jst ask! Do you write off for the comps or just do the ones from the comp board on this site? I am wanting to get into this side of things as although I know it's time consuming, I need to get more things for ebay/pressies extra.
You're doing really well! Good luck with reaching your target of 15 wins.

Well done on speaking to your mum
I know it must be hard but you've made that first important step, and I like the update on your signiture! I do read your thread but dont comment that often, I never know what to say
How do you win so many prizes?! I'm one of these people who never win anything!

I do a lot of competitions. I like to do a mixture to maximise my chances. I do internet. email, text, phone, postcard, entry form etc etc.
You've got to be dedicated to doing it because the wins can take a while to start trickling in. I also spend money on texts, stamps, membership to a specialist comping site & stationary (card for postcards, labels, envelopes).
Start doing some internet comps at first as those are free although a lot of my wins come from text and postcard comps.
Good luck0 -
No more wins yesterday so my total prize haul for February was 13
My target for March is 20 prizes. It's day one and I have won.....a Devil Wears Prada DVD :T
It was a website win too so I like those even more

Oooh, I'm going to watch Devil Wears Prada tonight (borrowed off someone, of course
), hubby is off out for birthday drinks with his mate (which I'm not very happy about as his mate seems to be getting himself in trouble and struggling to control his temper a lot recently....but he's a very old friend of hubbys so he doesn't feel like he can let him down....oops, way off topic, sorry!).
Well done on your wins, sending lucky vibes your way for March!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
