Not long to go now. I have finished work until after Christmas so I can look forward to getting some lovely pressies :D - I'm feeling a bit sad that my dad isn't here though, he loved Christmas and it's just not the same without him :(

I have officially finished all of my Christmas shopping which is good. My present box for next year (birthdays and Christmas) is looking very healthy already. So far I have got:

£20 Toys 'R' Us vouchers (leftover from Christmas vouchers this year)
£15 Love to Shop vouchers (left over from Christmas vouchers)
£12 worth of Boots points (built up from buying a lot of my presents there this year)
A Guinness glass (might be useful for a hamper - freebie)
An Olive Oil drizzler (don't ask, I won this from somewhere - again it might be useful for a hamper for someone who likes to cook!)
A set of Bratz Top Trump cards (also won these, will save these for my little cousin).

I'm quite impressed with that little haul and I don't really have many major birthdays until March. I've got a friend's birthday in early January but I always get a cheap set from Boots for this - they are always half-price after Christmas ;) .

I hope everyone else is ready for Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone - I hope you all had a good day yesterday.

I received some lovely presents which was nice. I've got some white gold jewellery and a new cardigan and some new jeans (haven't bought new clothes for ages!).

I also got enough toiletries to sink a ship! I don't think I'll need to buy any more shampoo, shower gel, body lotion or skin creams for a very long time!!

Now that my present buying is over for this year, I can concentrate on sorting out the presents I need to buy for next year. My first birthday is in January which is my friend's and I will only get her a half price set from Boots so I can use my points for that (have got over £14 worth now).

Therefore I need to start with Valentines Day in February. I don't usually get my boyfriend much so I'm just going to try and win something that will be suitable. I'm going to enter at least 20 competitions a day that will be for a prize that I can give him. That way I am hopefully bound to win something for him before February.

Anyway, I am now going to do a couple of hours on AQA before some family come around for the afternoon.

I hope you all have a lovely Boxing Day.

I've decided I need to firstly declutter and secondly get some extra money into that bank account of mine so that I can wave goodbye to my overdraft.

I am going to copy something I did a few months ago. I'm going to list things on Ebay in groups of £100.

My first lot of things will be:
    • Giant Connect Four game - will get around £100 for it.
    • Computer software - hoping to get £30.
    • Change sorter - £15
    • Electronic money bank - £15
    • Knitting book - £10
    • Some D&G jeans - £20 (they aren't new)
    • Some bits and bobs that will get around £10

Therefore my first lot totals £200. I will list these on New Years Eve and will start looking for my next lot of items on New Years Day. This is just my estimate of prices so they may get more or less on Ebay.

It will be great to sort my things out and clear my overdraft at the same time.

    Emily xx

    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I'm so glad it is now 2007. This year is going to be great - I can just feel it!!

My little present resolution is coming along nicely. I have already sorted out my friend's birthday which is on Sunday. I've used a nice cosmetic bag that I got with a set at Christmas and put 4 toiletry products in there that I already had but would never use.

My mum has got some wrapping paper for me to use and I have got a nice supply of cards to keep me going all year. Therefore my friend's birthday has cost me nothing and all my Boots points stay in tact :D

My next mission is to win something for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. I've got tomorrow off so will be entering loads of relevant competitions to try and win something in time. It doesn't have to be anything major, just a nice computer game or something would do.

Anyway, must get on with my AQA questions ;)

    Emily x
