    Congratulations (and to your sister).
Now you'll have your work cut out as you will not only be moneysaving but you'll also have to pamper your sister - I think she (and you) will need extra support after what she has been through.

    CONGRATULATIONS

That is just such fantastic news. Woo hoo!!! Your little nephew or niece is going to have to be in the Guiness Book of Records for having the most surrogate aunts and uncles in the world!! It's not even my sister but your news has really brightened my day.

Thank you all for your kind messages. We are all still over the moon about my sister and we are fussing around her trying to make her relax and take it easy!!

Now, more than ever, I need to focus on clearing my debts more. I want to start this by clearing my overdraft and then getting rid of it.

I've got a £3,000 overdraft which I am ALWAYS in!!  - it currently stands at around £2,850!!!

I think that clearing a debt a month is a bit unrealistic now (although I did manage it a few times ;) ) so I'm going to set a target date in which I need to clear my overdraft by. I figure I could clear £1,000 a month from this so I'm going to set my target date for 90 days from today which is Friday 9th February 2007.

I will clear my £3,000 overdraft by Friday 9th February 2007.

If I clear it sooner than this date then fantastic and I will move on to the next debt to clear. I am going to do my credit cards next and then move on to the loans.

It will take me a long time but I will get there. I'm going to try and do something everyday to get that little bit closer to clearing this overdraft. I'll post daily with an update as to where my overdraft stands so that it keeps me focused and on target. I will cut my overdraft down as I go (when I clear £500 from it, I will cut it down to £2,500 and so on).

    Emily xx
