Congratulations Emily. Another debt cleared. Over £5000 cleared in less than 6 months - that's some going. Well done and I hope you have another reason for the congrats on Friday. I don't know about everyone else (although I can hazard a guess) but I've got my fingers and toes crossed for good news on Friday!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello again

I'm afraid my sister isn't pregnant, she had a visit from the painters this morning.

She was really upset but I assured her that it will happen eventually.

Sorry to hear this - I haven't had the misfortune to mis-carry or lose a baby but I do know the agony of the missed period senario turning into a false alarm.

Sorry to hear about your sister. You must have all really started to get your hopes up when she was three weeks late. It will happen eventually. Still got my fingers & toes crossed x

Thanks for all of your messages. I'm sure that my sister will get pregnant again soon. She feels a bit better about things now.

I decided to celebrate clearing another debt and have a little £20 play at online bingo. 2 wins later and I am £90 up!! I know it was a bit naughty of me to spend £20 on bingo when I am trying to clear my debts and I don't do it often. I've already taken out my profit so I'm not tempted to spend anymore. As soon as the money gets transferred to my bank account, it's going straight onto my Barclaycard. See, I am a good girl after all :A

I've got tomorrow off for my Great Aunt's funeral so I'll be able to spend some more time getting money from AQA in the afternoon. I've also got a few emystery shopper assignments to complete - that should fetch me £30 or so.

I registered as self-employed the other day too because of all the extra work I'm doing. It was really easy to do and only took 5 minutes. At least I won't have the taxman after me.

I also sold my trampoline today for £80. I'm going to get a smaller one for next summer. My boyfriend got me the one I just sold a couple of christmas's ago but it was 13 foot and it kind of took over our garden so I'm going to get an 8 foot one instead. It helps with my Cystic Fibrosis and is great fun!! I'm going to put this money in my current account to make up for the money I took to clear my Alliance & Leicester loan early.

    Hi there Emily,

Another newbie (although you wouldn't believe it looking at my post count :o ) and have just spent the last hour reading through your thread. Am still sitting here with tears in my eyes. I was so sorry to hear about your losses ((hugs)).

You sound like an incredibly strong person, it's no wonder this thread has proved to be such an inspiration to so many. Just wanted to say Good Luck for the next debt, and I am another who will be following your progress from now on.

    Take care.

    Hello everyone

I hope you are all having a good weekend. I've been slaving away on AQA most of the day - boring I know!! My boyfriend is away for the weekend so I'm having an economical weekend by not going out and therefore not spending!!

I've also started entering my competitions again. I won some tickets to the luxury travel show which I gave away on the forum earlier as it's in London and it would just cost me money to get up there.

I've also won a BMW F1 rucksack but I haven't received it yet. I expect that will end up on Ebay. Once I'm up and running, I'm going to start a total in my signature of the money I've received from competitions. Any money that I do get will go straight towards my target debt. The only outgoings I have with comping are stamps, envelopes and postcards, however I mainly do internet comps.

I haven't received the money from my bingo win yet but as soon as I do, it's coming off my Barclaycard total - I can't wait to update it so it reads under £300!! It's silly how excited I get now about paying money off something, I used to get excited about spending it!!

Oh well, better get back to the questions - that's the kind of exciting life I lead!! :D

    Take care

    Emily xx
