    Hello everyone

I am shattered today, I feel like my feet haven't touched the ground!! I got up at 5:15 this morning to go to do our carboot. We got home again at around 2pm, unpacked the car, had something to eat and then I had to rush our again to do 2 lots of mystery shopping!!

We made £235 from the carboot and my mystery shopping went fine and I have just put my results into the system so I suppose I can't complain, I'm just glad tomorrow is a bank holiday!!

I got paid from my mystery shopping with TNS on Friday. They put the money straight into my account and then sent me a wage slip of sorts yesterday. I have only done 2 jobs for them and I got paid over £40!! They even paid me for the job that went wrong (went to a 'student bar' and couldn't get in without student ID which they never said I needed!!) so I received £10 plus £3 mileage for nothing!!

I've got my phone finishing on Ebay later on tonight, it's going for £142 at the moment with an hour and a half to go so I really hope I'm going to get £200+ for it. Here's hoping!!

Anyway, I'm off to have a long hot bath to soak my weary feet!! That's after I've sorted the rabbit and the guinea pig out though and my cat probably wants something too!!

    Take care everyone!!

hope you've recovered! if you get tired, i find counting all the votes that you've got so far in the may post of the month competition is quite relaxing - although the number is quite big! :D

sounds like you've had an excellent weekend! very profitable! presumably the ones that have been paid off free up money for future ones? that should make it easier in the long run? do you have any idea how much it's freed up per month so far?

anyway, hope the bank holiday went well and good luck for post of the month! i've got my fingers crossed for you!

    best wishes

Thank you for all your messages today. I feel better today, still a bit tired but never mind. At least it's only a 4 day week.

I've been trying to answer questions on AQA for most of today but the system has been really slow so I haven't got much done. I have been keeping an eye on the post of the month thread, I don't think I'm going to win it though, Welshdragon is getting a lot of votes recently. Only a couple of days to go so we shall wait and see. Thank you to everyone that has voted for me so far.

I think I've freed up about £200 per month so far but I have been helping my mum out recently too as she's retired and has been finding it difficult since my dad died money wise so I have been giving her extra on top of my housekeeping. I think once she gets the mortgage sorted (she's going on an interest only mortgage which will bring her repayments down from £800 to £200!!) then I will be able to start paying more off. This is the main reason why I haven't been able to clear a debt this month. From next month I will be receiving full-time pay again so this will help big time.

I should really go off and get some sleep but I am addicted to The X Factor at the moment!!

I've not even looked at x-factor - too much time spent on bb (for some reason cos i can't stand any of them!). :D

it's difficult to know quite what to say really. it sounds like the freed up money has come at the right time and maybe, in terms of the remaining debts, it's good to focus on how it does free it up and, in theory, make each following one that bit easier.

given everything that's happened, i'm sure i speak for everyone on this thread when i say that it's amazing that you're still going so well. i am personally sure that, over the year, you'll still make it to one per month... cos if nothing else, we'll badger you to drive you on! :D

    Hi Emily,

I have just spent the last hour or so reading your thread, and must say you are truly inspirational.

I was so sorry to hear about your losses earlier this year. My dad died when I was 16, he was only 38. Time does help, even though you probably wont believe that just yet.

I also have debts, and having just lost my job, firmly believed I had the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Your thread has made me realise that I should get a grip and deal with things.

I have a great man and two fab kids. My debts will get sorted and there are plenty of other jobs out there.

Any advice you could give me on mystery shopping companies and AQA would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your story.
