Got confirmation email.. which is nice.. says it will be dispatched by tomorrow..

Even though this camera is OLD.. it was a camera aimed at professionals when it was released so it's well built and designed to last. It's still of higher spec than the average compact of the same price.. and the lens is worth around £100 alone assuming it is included.

I'm in the market for a digital SLR and was gonna buy the olympus E-500.. the lens on this is compatible so that means I'll have an extra lens.. :) woo.
  • Tis a misprice ... just about to have the website changed :(

It's a current Olympus model. Quirky it may be, but it's one of their only 3 SLR digital bodies.

If it turns up I suspect it may well only be the body pack (£650), but it does say it comes with the lens (another £450). Perhaps you could complain that it's mis-described if there's no lens???

No flash (£280 extra) of course, but I assume it's got a standard shoe??? Any ideas anybody?

I read on the Steve's Digicams review it can take standard flashes, or ones that the camera transfers information to-and-fro.
