crazy that apple dont have an automated price-checker in their quoting system to prevent this sort of thing - come to think of it I am sure a lot of other companies dont either! A gap in the market me thinks.

Oh and they still say that the camera in the normal apple store is ready for delievery within 24hrs - oh dear - who the hell advises them?

theres going to be about 10,000 unhappy poor(well thats disputable) students on here who cant progress with there course due to apple not sending out there cameras!

oh well back to the throw away camera then

Lol, think about it, they do stand to lose loads of money. This offer was on the education site, if by any chance there were some photography institutes surfing MSE or Apple Education, think about the quantity they might have purchased for educational use. I dont think apple will be able to worm out of this one easily. Plus there has been over 30,000 views (i think) on this topic and im sure out of that 30,000 at least 10,000 may have placed orders and then you have to think about how quickly this story would have spread via word of mouth. I know for a fact i alerted my friend that was doing a photography degree at the same university as me.

Cant wait to see what Apple do next and whoever is in charge of the website is definately going to the Post Office on monday morning!
