I'm smiling! (and tipsy... on a school night!)

Everyone was whistling and I found my long lost favourite necklace! I lost it in the move over a year ago. It's a dragonfly, gorgeous, that OH bought me - just because - a while ago.

maybe things work out ok. Just maybe.

We all sat and sang this at my BIL's wedding last year - great fun!!

KT - best of luck for sorting things out, as a lot of people know I'm a regular lurker over here now (No debt myself but have been in the brown sticky stuff several times and know how easy it is - find this board waaaaaay friendlier and less cliquey than most other areas on here) and you diary is one of those that I keep an eye out for. Oh KT - what an annus horribulus.

As Fay, in only the way that Fay can, says - there is always something to smile about. Think about how much you have achieved.

Soon, you'll back at this year and realise what you went through - I have a couple of years that I look back at like that and I am able to appreciate them for what they brought me - bringing me closer to my family; making me realise what is important and what my goals were.

Keep posting (and whistling)

Sorry to hear the first four months of this year have been so rubbish. At least there are eight more months for things to improve! As they say, once you've hit rock bottom the only way is up so here is to the rest of this year improving for you.

Really hope your dad is ok as it must be a huge blow and its lovely to know that he has the support of you around him. Take care.

I'm thinking of closing this diary for good. I might start another one later on down the line.This one is mostly a depressing record of many things I'd rather forget.

What do you all think?

Lifes a journey - so I guess it's up to you. Personally you might find starting a new diary quite cathartic (sp) but on the other hand - you can' t rewrite the past few horrible months and you are still well, um, you - so if you draw an invisible line under it - or one with stars on here you might be able to look back and think - OK there's where things changed.
