KT - you mentioned that your outlook has change about things but the outcome reamins the same. Surely if you are feeling a bit more contented in yourself then that can only be a good thing and will push you in the right direction and enable you to achieve your goals (or at least make baby steps towards them.)
I was feeling a bit fed up myself the other week as we have about £10,000 worth of debt which we want to clear by Christmas. Sometimes it feels as if everything is on hold and we can't afford to do many of the things we would like. I'm also in the process of trying to look for a new job which will be a bit more challenging, doing OU, looking after a family etc etc I came across the thread Five OS Pleasures in your day today and it reminded me of looking at the little things that are important in life, that make everyday worthwile.
Take a look if you get a chance. It certainly made me feel better.0

            Hi Kt
Just been catching up, haven't been keeping on top of my favourite diaires for a week or so
I want you know I am thinking of you. Sorry things have been on such a roller-coaster recently. You are doing some really positive things at the moment but I know it can be difficult to keep sight of that when everything seems so topsy-turvy.
PM me if you ever want a chat. There are some really eggs on here - Piq, Fay, etc - and we all care about you

            Hi KT
Sorry to hear things are not going so well at the moment, I know how you feel, there is so much I want to achieve but there always seems to be something in the way (two steps forward, 3 steps back).
I agree with Fay's comments, keep changing your outlook and the rest will follow eventually, there are a lot of positives in your posts, and 5 weeks isn't a long time in the grand scheme of things.
I also believe in the women's mantra of "If you can't change your life, change your hair". :rotfl:
I know how it feels to be "stuck in a rut", it will happen. Thinking of you.0

            I'm still here!
 What a weekend.
 I have a stalker.
no, really, I appear to have the makings of a stalker. A guy in my block of flats who 'wants to be friends' has been putting notes though my front door asking why I haven't replied to his text messages. I met the guy 10 days ago for crying out loud! He knows about the boyfriend.
Today the outcome started to reflect the outlook. Yey!
OH's news - His blood tests came back normal (there was a fear he was diabetic... seriously like we didn't have enough just now). He has also been offered an unpaid role in a play if he wants it and his agent has got him a casting for a tv thing that he's going to go for.
My news - I got into the level 4 BSL portfolio group (skipping right past level 3 waving!). I got a phone call today from a person apparently I have met once before offering me a one off interpreting job. I have turned it down (stay with me, I have a good reason...) I know my weak and strong points. The job was signing in church, I'm not that comfortable in churches. That means my church vocab is not strong. The job itself was Easter Sunday... The last thing I want is a bad reputation before I even start. I am happy that my name is out there and the person I spoke to knows that I can be contacted in future.
So, that is me for now.
Thanks everyone. I needed you and you were all there.

            Hi KT
Good to hear from you. Hmm not sure about this stalker tho, be careful.
Good news about OH blood tests and his job (even tho unpaid, it will get him "out there" and hopefully noticed for the next James Bond. :rotfl:
And..... YAY on being offered interpretation work, I hope they call back with something more suitable soon.
 Keep posting.0

So pleased it's coming together for you. Good news on the OH front, as goochie says it will get him noticed and from there a starring role!
Be careful with the stalker, not a comfortable thing to have, not that I've had one. Suggest you tell him you can't be friends, OH and all that....
 Always here

We should try to meet up if you're near Edinburgh. (I work there even though I live on the other side of the blinking country... grrrr)
Yes, yesterday was weigh in day. I was too busy to give you my progress.
I am another pound down I now weigh 11 stone 3 pounds!
I's love to lose 3 pounds this week and be 11 stone again in time for my birthday but I doubt that will happen.
Right back to work with me. I promise more updates later!
