Erm, I've been threatening to do it for a while... but now I have... I have started an MSE diary...
please keep nagging me to keep it up to date, even if none of you ever read it. Look for "update MSE diary" on my daily list every few days and shout at me if it starts to disappear.
Hope everyone's day is on the up.

Thanks people for being concerned about me, thanks fay for the message.
MrsAudus2b - have you considered etap hotels? They are usually £30 - £35 a room, each room sleeps 3 and I think most big towns have one. They are usually on the edge of town centres. Obviously with 3 to a room, it could be £10 each. They are basic but have everything you need (own shower, toilet, TV, etc). One of the beds, the single one, is always a high bunk though.0 -
Wow KT, well done! I've read it, so impressed!:TTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Thanks again and lots of :grouphug: to you...I hope you are feeling a little better

Hello my lovelies

I haven't been around for just over a month now. I thought I'd lost what little savings I had in Icesave and I was feeling a bit down in the dumps about money stuff. But, this morning, my savings cleared back into my linked account and I'm having quite a good day so I'm back. Didn't want to depress you all with my grumpies.
Today I have:
* Checked online banking. Thank you FCSC!
* Brought a storecupboard lunch in.
* Got to Ninja level on Qype and done the 50 reviews I need for an Amazon voucher. Hopefully that all comes off as the voucher would be useful towards my Mum's Crimble present!
* Car shared into work.
* Tea and electricity courtesy of work.
* Done some surveys so hopefully I can get some more vouchers to cover any last minute Christmas shopping.
Today I will:
* Go shopping for meals for the week tonight to save on naughty takeaways. I've slipped back into bad habits.
* Phone Plusnet. I've worked out that if I move my broadband, I'll save £136 a year! It's worth doing but I know it's going to be a confrontational phonecall so I've been putting it off.
* Have a quiet night in doing reviews for my other half so he can get a Ninja too.
Hope everyone is well and happy!0 -
Glad you're back Norton Blade, I wondered where you'd got to! Glad you've got your money back, well done! Hopefully, you're still sparkling and ready to join back in with the madness

MrsAudus2b - the one in Leeds is right on the edge of the town centre too, close enough to walk to after drinking (depending on how many you have had!)0
