Thanks Miss Piggy - fingers crossed for your hubby :grouphug:
Fay - I have no idea yet! At first I wanted a weekend in the sun but in this economic climate it won't be possible. Besides, I don't want my friends feeling they have to spend loads when most of them are like me - in debt and counting the pennies! I get angry when I hear about hen weekends that cost £200+ per person - there is no way I would expect anyone to pay that - I certianly couldn't myself! I just want to have a lovely time...make that a lovely drunken time!
So I'm looking at some cheap rooms near some big exciting cities...that don't cost the earth!

Morning everyone!
You're all such early birds, very impressive!
Sophiesmum - what ingredients/measurements do you use for the flapjacks and how long do you cook them for. They'd be ideal to bring to work for when I had the munchies
Miss Piggy - glad the lad is better, don't envy you the washing:eek:
Fay - have you considered that the cows may not pay? I've never seen a cow with a wallet....
My tumble dryer has broken  I don't use it much and only overnight, but I do like the towels tumbled dried. I am now going to have to karate chop them in half just to fold them:mad:
...and the exhaust on my car is starting to blow, blast it all that'll be another £100 or so:mad:
On the brighter side I have listed 5 items on ebay and made £4.75 profit on matched betting - not quite balancing out what the car will cost though
Today I have/will- checked on line banking
- paid differences in minimum payments on all cards
- updated spreadsheet
- bought in breakfast and lunch
- draped washed duvet cover stylishly over bannisters
- go to library
- see horse
- write to new email penpal

morning everyone,
It's the pink scull socks for me today.
I'm thinking about you all, nobody seems to have it easy today.
Here is my list for today,
- Check bank and cringe, this is a very bad month
- check mobile phone spend
- contact gym to book in for class tomorrow if I can. Body Pump, I've never done it before and I'm rather nervous about trying it. I know I'm not fit enough but how will I get fit if I wait until I am fit to do any exercise, right? Has anyone here done it? Any tips for me?
- Start my letter of complaint to ILS Scotland who took away my £100 learning account without telling me.
- Look in the Asda Home shop and TK Maxx for a couple of Christmas outfits on the cheap, one dressy, one more casual.
- Look for cheap Christmas presents while I'm out
- Store cupboard meals
- Samaritans shift tonight
- washing on E7 overnight
- dishwasher on E7 overnight
I think that's about me for now.
I hope everyone's day improves. *hugs*
KT. x:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!
I'm back, and this time I mean business!
If you need to talk to someone confidentially call Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90 or email jo@samaritans.org
My heart knows me better than I know myself so I'm going to let it do all the talking.0 -
Ooo I love this thread it's good to concentrate on the little things

*Today - I am charging phone and Ipod at work.
*Drinking free coffee from machine at work
*Making a meal for me and the BF from half price frozen beef that I had in the freezer - will give myself a budget of £1 for things to go with it (My cooking is my downfall, I can easily spend £7 on ingredients for a meal on a an evening)
*Putting wash load on with timer switch for night to get cheaper leccy
Good Luck
