rach every good vibe possible on your DHs way! Good luck to him! Your DH sounds like mine any excuse and he gives up. There shuld always be a clock (large) in an exam room, has to be specific size IIRC too. My partner hasn't picked what course he's doing next because he wants to go through them all finding which he likes the sound of doesn't have an exam, he hates them, goes to pieces if he's honest.
CS hope the dentist appointment goes ok
Pigpen lovely photo, DD4 is such a little lady now isn't she, melt some hearts will that one! I always wanted a character brolly and Mam wouldn't let me, so you get super dooper Mam votes!
Kaz so pleased your first weekend was a good, what a lovely place, my first weekend was on a rubgy pitch....no showers and a vile dark loo...no electric either...was a real test!
Sarah S ours get some from him and some from us, done the same at Grandparents house too (DPs Dad who spends a fortune on them)
Mothers, grrrr, mine text at 9am to say she slept in and would be too late to bring her car over to be fixed, we live 5 mins from where she works so have said if she's that much late I will take her to work/back here so we can do it when it's nice outside. It's cold but it's not raining for a change. She's like DP and thinks she'll be late for everything, such an anxious woman, she usually gets to work an HOUR early every day, anyway she's hopefully getting ready now, !!!!!! she doesn't start work until 12.30pm!
Oh I won a prize, DS1s school fayre raffle, cut and style at a posh salon I used to use......then the funny bit, I call them being due my highlights (well overdue) asking how much it'll be to get that done aswell......£48!!!!!!!!! Just for the highlights....I pay £22.50 here for cut and highlights!!!! Needless to say I said I would call back, will get Anne to do my highlights then use that when I just need it cut!
Need to get moving, going to shift stuff and vacuum before mother dearest gets here and moans about the dog hair...One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

"Oh Billy, what a shame you don't believe anymore. You know, FC comes to everyone, but he has to stop when boys and girls stop believing in him.
CraftyScholar How are you finding your lamp? I was thinking about mine this morning, and how gently it wakes me, even if I don't want to be woken!
Lamp seems to be working fine, although I do seem to wake up as soon as it starts to glow. Maybe stopping me from just lying there because I have to sit up to reach the buttons, but I do like the birdsong.0 -
Piggers What a fabulous picture. I love moments like that. When the best thing in the world is an umberella, and the other best thing in the world is your mum for giving it to you!!
*sniff* ~~~ remembering DD1 age 2 getting teletubby wellies and wearing them all day! *sniff*MMSSB Club Founder Member

Must admit, I say I wouldn't go back, but mine were lovely at that age - all the cuddles and smiles and excitement at everything...
DD is pretty much still the same, never asks for anything, always wanting cuddles and love and still gets excited at nothing and she's 19 - just worries me as she has no 'gumption' I suppose is the word - so many dreams while at school, she was going to be a Nanny in the US and live out there for 2 years, never did it, still wants to go but not be a nanny, but no plans of how/when/why/where, etc - she's not working at the moment either, waiting for the world to give her the living it owes her...
DS (15) on the other hand is morose, lazy and DETERMINED to do nothing - he will sit in his room for 4 hours doing nothing rather than tidy it (in 5 minutes it could be done) while popping down every 30 mins for a drink and a moan about how he had made plans and how I'm just mean... AAARRRRHHH!!! But he does have his moments and still likes a good cuddle...:D
Kids eh, who'd 'ave 'em????
i did this when i left college, did it for a year, the best thing i ever did, could she look into it?
still catching up but welsh class now so will try catch up some more later have done a little in the kitchen, dwi'n mynd nawr.....(i'm going now!!!)0 -
