Evening all,
I couldn't get on to the internet earlier:mad: it's only just working.
I went to the school, ( now i know what it was about:o )last year DS1 ( when he was in juniors ) was chosen for a new scheme for gifted children. All he did was go to secondary school on two occasions and do some harder work than usual. Now he's in secondary he's been chosen again based on his CAT results and teacher recommendations. There were 18 children all together and they will be doing special classes to try and stretch them more than their usual classes do. I'm quite impressed it sounds like a good scheme.
Massive hugs to Lil_me i'm so sorry about Sonic, i remember when you got him.
Hugs and good luck wishes to Lady-Liberty , i'm sorry you have to wait longer to find out.
Hugs to Valli. I hope your not feeling too rotten.
Pigpen and OddjobKIA i'm sorry for your losses;)
All this talk of fairies has reminded me about the parking fairy. I can't remember who started it but everytime my Sister and i need a parking space we pray to the parking fairy:o( don't send for the men in white coats just yet. ) The kids think we're barking. If we pray we always get a space with enough space to get Ds2 out of his car seat, if we forget we get a horrible space or none at all. It's really wierd but it works and now i'm too scared to stop.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So you all like my foster puppies then. They are 7 weeks old, the black and tan is Clyde and the black and white is Bonnie and they are from our local pound which keeps them for a week before *gulp* you know what!.
I'm fostering for Hope Rescue and where DS did his work experience, I went to get puppy food and they had their claws clipped FOC.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Boddy - big hugs to you, your friend and her partner. That is a shock to say the least. But, I feel they've done the right thing.
Pink - the pups are really, really cute! And I'm CofE except I do have v. slight telepathic/spritual experiences so I accept them as part of God's great gifts.
Well I buckled under the will power that almost went Valli's way but not completely. I HAVE dusted and dysoned the living room (and emptied the cylinder) and I've wiped the plants and watered them. Now, I'm firmly putting my feet up, eating my dinner, washing up and then vegging out in front of the TV.
Oh - and guess what - it's raining again!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks for all your hugs and thought for my son. He is now back in the residential home [http://home.btconnect.com/JANITH-HOMES-LTD/about_us.html ] he lives in and although sleepy, the fits have stopped. They have increased his medication and we are hoping they will help. It doesn't matter how old they are , we still worry don't we?We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0
