we have had a death in our house hold.....

    We hearby lay to rest
    Mug No76..

And I must phone the missing cuttelry hotline to inform them of the mass exodus of our teaspoons...
I belive the odd socks might be tricking them into work in another country saying about the glitz of the bright lights and the opurtunities that the city can offer something that always gets buried in the cuttlery draw by the bigger and tougher looking kinves.........shame they might never know how they are being duped and how much they are missed....

Although DH knows I do something on here, he doesn't know what, and I'm not going to tell him because:
    1. He'll probably spoil my fun
    2. It'll confirm his opinion of my mental state
    3. He'll probably want to join in.

HowGreatThouArt - where have you been [STRIKE]skulking[/STRIKE]hiding? :j Glad you're back.

Lady-Liberty - more hugs for you and I hope you have some more definite news tomorrow to put your mind at rest.

Valli - Tranexamic Acid worked well for me to start with, but I suppose my other problems made things worse.

Bountiful - when you are writing a new message, click on [more] at the bottom of the smileys, scroll down till you find the Christmas Tree and click on it. Sorted!

OK - now I'm getting neurotic. Am I the only Christian on this thread?

    What's left

    Dusty's plan
    sewing - cuff/whistle/shorten troussers
    order certificate
Deal with the hotspots rather than growing them
    decide on isa

    Living Room
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Wipe and water plants

    Bathroom
    Clean floors
    Clean bath

    Study
    delete some emails started
    do some surveys started
    check statements

    Dalies on top of this.

The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

  • .....shuffles sheepishly into the room and hopes that it's ok to come back and rejoin the flyladies.....

I've been a bad flylady and NEED to come back and get sorted! Work has been an ABSOLUTE mare with lots of behind the scenes stuff going on - but I've decided I need to switch off when I get home and need to get house back on track.

Hopefully this time I will make it stick!

So, tonight the plans are to hoover living room (Can't do stairs as the little gingerpeople are in bed) - and dust and then do some Chrissie shopping courtesy of the wibbly wobbly web whilst watching the lovely Richard Armitage in Spooks. (Not Rupert I know - but a reasonable substitute!)

After it's time for some choccie and then crash into bed. Have had no washing machine for over 2 weeks (long story - the people at Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances will wish they had NEVER cancelled my order TWICE!) - but the lovely people at Mr T are delivering one tomorrow so I can crack on and conquer the mountain of dirty clothes.

Hi to everyone - not had chance to read all the post but will skim later. Hugs to those who need!!!!!

Pink Fairy - Christian here too...

Valli - I'm that awkward age too, and it's a complete pain isn't it, although I've not had your experience, I have had to ask a (male) supply teacher to look after the class I took after him for five minutes so I could get to the loo in between lessons, without having to tell him precisely why!

Read through quickly, and haven't taken notes again. Glad to hear you're feeling a tiny bit better gryfon and sarah.

boddy - that is such sad news for your friend.

Rubbish day at school , only consolation was that everyone was complaining too, not just me. I have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning, and I really don't want to be poked and prodded and squashed and scanned etc etc. I generally feel quite strongly that the very best thing is to avoid hospitals at all costs, but I guess I'll be a good girl and turn up. I'll just think of a nice treat for after.

vivw any news? Been thinking of you.

I'll be flying after the appointment tomorrow, doing today's and tomorrow's list - new flybabies please note, you should not attempt this until you've been flying for a while and have the house pretty much sorted! (I'm not quite totally sorted though...)
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
