    Afternoon
    Been to town and taken DD dancing - she has been collected by exOH. DS has stayed home (again) since I was going to take my car to the carwash I offered DS and his friend a fiver to wash it - and they have. I have gone out and pointed out 'missed' bits (like the wheels - no point washing them they'll just get dirty again he said) They are now washed and the boys arte so inspired they have gone with my car shampoo, bucket and sponges to wash cars round and about...
    Whether they'll get any takers I don't know but it's a beautiful car washing day - dry and it's also cold so they may strike lucky...
    I'm eating Belgian white chocolate coated raisins :p Do they count towards my 5-a-day :rolleyes: ?
    Of course they do.

    Johanne - you're not the only one. Try clippers.

    We don't live together ( thankfully;) ) so he can go back to his own house. I've just had to phone and wake his daughter up to leave a key out for him.:mad: I'm really cross especially as he did the same last week. This is only about the 4th time he's been out without me in the 4 yrs we've been together. Now i know why.:mad: :mad: :mad:

    DH and DS2 and 3 have just done a major blitz downstairs, swept all floors and cleared junk from surfaces. I managed to clean cooker top. I am quite pleased with that achievement.
    TAG, It must be a male thing because two Saturdays ago, DH went to the tip and was gone 2 hours! Just had to pop into the 'office' (pub), to check up on work commitments.

    Tomorrow DH and future SIL are going to collect a fridge freezer from a freecycler and I expect the same to happen. They don't know yet but I will be giving them a Mr T shopping list as we need some vegetables and some fridge food as we call it.

    It snowed loads last night and it looks like more is on its way. DS3 is desperate to get out skiing but there is not quite enough yet or its the wrong type of snow or something like that.

    lil_me DS3 had an interview for the Merchant Navy last week. It was his first 'proper' interview and was terrified. We had told him not to worry as there are at least a hundred companies he could apply to. My dad and grandad were MN and some of my cousins are too so it is in his blood! It is good that yur OH is able to spend time with the boys while they are small. My DH did shift work too when ours were little so he got to do loads with them. He was the first father at 'Mums and Babes' swimming!

    Well dishwasher emptied and I've started filling it. Done some of the washing up and fed the children and brother. Just eating a bag of crisps and waiting for my bacon to cook :)

    I think I peaked for today. Had a bath, stripped my bed and put the bedding in the washing machine, emptied the dishwasher, did a bit of hand washing up, S&Sd and that was it! I had to go and lie down on the settee for a bit which I did and promptly fell asleep. I now have a beautiful cough developing.
    :eek::eek::eek:
