hollyh like last week this is not your fault, make him get a taxi, http://www.townandcountrycars.com/taxi_privatehire.htm based in bristol and accept card payments so he can pay for himself to get home with one of his cards if he's out of cash. Sounds like your OH needs his wings clipping! It's not fair on your children or his who are having to get up and babysit while you play taxi.
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks for the link Lil_me, he's got cash this time:rolleyes: but asked how much it would be and they said £50:eek: , i said he should just get one to save us all the hassle but he thinks he'll be able to get a taxi in Newport at 2am. He might be right but i'm still annoyed.

pigpen :rotfl: DP deals with similar types frequently inc locating my friends hubby, they don't change and tend to get worse unfortunately.

Speaking of DP, tonight he doesn't like his job, refused someone because he'd just hit his GF so he tried to smash the windows on the taxi, aren't drunks lovely? Really not sure I want to go out lol

hollyh depends on what miles it is, that would get him about 25 miles here.....if it's 25 miles go up and down the queue offering them £40, or even £35 to take him to where he's going. Owner drivers might take him for less, that's all come from DP who's a taxi driver lol. If it's that sort of miles it's going to cost you £15 or whatever to go get him, drop him home then back home isn't it? Maybe an expensive lesson will teach him. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get a taxi in any town.....call a few private hire companies and offer as I said, see what they say, they can't pick up off the ranks.

When on earth did midnight happen?:eek: I best get to bed. Up as if going to school tomorrow in the hopes that I can get some jobs (and maybe a few more craft bits done) before we have to leave at 10.45 for the craft fair. Mind you, I've just sat and made 21 paperchain kits (60 strips of paper per kit, then bound together with another strip) and put gold curling ribbon for hanging some hama ornaments for trees etc. Might take a pic tomorrow but right now I just want to go to bed...so I am

Johanne - Don't worry about it. Remember what happened to DDs shoulder when she was tiny and messing around on the bed with me and ex climbing all over us? We ended up taking her to Alderhey  Accidents happen all the time, its all part and parcel of being a parent/child ;)

    Right, bed time.

Thanks Lil_me, he says he's going to get the train to newport then try and get a taxi from there. The fare was probably so high as there's the toll to pay on the severn bridge as well. I'm still not happy.

Johanne i'm not sure what to suggest, is she not tired at all?

Maybe put her in her pram and walk around the house with her.

I want to go to bed!

Smallest child woke up when my brother went to bed just after 12 and she's refusing to go to sleep. I'm not good when I'm tired  I would usually put her in her cot and leave her there but her screaming wakes my brother who's in the same room.

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
