Evening all...
Got home from work at 9.30 tonight... am just catching up on Enders - more doom and gloom - makes me feel good about my life!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:Lipids - Lipids are another type of organic molecule (contains carbon). When you think of fats, you should know that they are lipids. Lipids are also used to make steroids and waxes. So if you pick out some ear wax and smell it, that's a lipid, too! Taken from Chem4kids!Flylady_Flower wrote: »do not know what postes soa is, but sounds pretty bad if it puts you in a wheelchair.
OMG thank you, you have just given me the first laugh of the day! I think homealone meant she has posted her SOA of the DFW board :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Doh!... Glad I'm good for something then... sorry Homealone - I thought when you said 'you had postes soa' that was what was wrong with you - I even tried googling it...(mmm, maybe I shouldn't admit to that...:o )... I think personally it's a good name for a disease!!!
I knew what a Lipid was, but I thought it was an acronym for something else... so Pigpen, we're all balls of fat and wax eh!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Its supposed to be a big yellow balloon.
Valli...Thanks for your links to pics of the fairy castle. DD decided she wanted a high school musical cake, then changed her mind and wanted a balloon, then said she didn't mind if she had a no. '6', then said she might be a bit disappointed if she had a fairy castle. Oh well, maybe next year I'll make the castle. She loves the balloon though, so I suppose that's whats important.
ETA...Yay!!! just tried the link and it works!!!!!0 -
Sunnygirl - What a great idea for a cake! I love the fluffy clouds, the colours make you feel all warm when it's so cold. Well done!
TD emptied, all the clothes are the childrens so seperated into who's is what and will put the piles in their rooms to go away tomorrow, better than the drag it out the dryer and stick it in a bag for weeks I usually do.
I actually thought it was much later than it is,
Red Red Wineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee............................please keep ear defenders on because I am singing my lungs out while I sort through this paperwork! I was only little when these songs were brought out but what I grew up singing, so make me smile.
Time to hit the hard stuff, frothy hot chocolate anyone? One day I might be more organised...........

Wow! Fab cake. Did you bake it in a pudding bowl to make it that shape? My DD2 is 4 in February and a cake like this would be brilliant!0 -
Thanks lil'me. I googled balloon cakes and saw a hot air balloon with that background so copied it....and yellow is DD1's favourite colour at the moment.
Sounds like you've been far too energetic tonight. Definately time for a hot chocolate.0 -
No. I tried baking a cake in a large pudding bowl to make a skirt for the barbie cake I made a couple of years ago but it ended up cooking on the outside a bit too well and was uncooked in the middle. This time I made 4 cakes in sandwich tins then sandwiched them together with jam and buttercream then used a knife to trim the sides to make the shape. I used the cuttings to make the bottom end of the balloon.0

BAD MUMMY ALERT.....
I just tried to cut Sarahs fingernails as they are like mine and grow very fast... they were so long she scratched all her own face and given me lots of nasty stratches on my arms and boobies.....anyway i was cutting them with her baby clippers when she jerked away and i ended up cutting the tip of her little finger quite deep...
It bled loads and she screamed... i feel sooo bad!!! Both of us were in tears. She is ok now but i feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooo guilty and it looks really sore.
I've done this too, your not alone!Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.0
