johanne something I think most parents have done at some point including me. I haven't snipped their ears yet but the hairdresser has! She'll be fine honey.
I've been trying to phone my mother for 1.5 hours, she's been on the phone all that time, gas bag, she gets those free calls from your postcode thing and she's a right buzbee! DPs wanting to go for a meal one evening in December as it's been many months since we were last out together, before the summer I think it was easter time maybe (I know it was cold!) so have text her instead. Just be a meal or cinema or something if she can. Before the madness of Christmas hopefully.....if I have enough money....BOGOF cinema tickets maybe :rotfl:
A manflu survival kit could be a good one for pressies ideas, DPs Dad wants cotton hankies so that might just be a good idea.
ARGH forgot to empty drier, back in a bit, I think I SHOULD put it all away straight away as all the laundry will just start piling up again if I don't.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
BAD MUMMY ALERT.....
I just tried to cut Sarahs fingernails as they are like mine and grow very fast... they were so long she scratched all her own face and given me lots of nasty stratches on my arms and boobies.....anyway i was cutting them with her baby clippers when she jerked away and i ended up cutting the tip of her little finger quite deep...
It bled loads and she screamed... i feel sooo bad!!! Both of us were in tears. She is ok now but i feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooo guilty and it looks really sore.
still catching up, but please don't feel guilty, i'm sure most of us mums have done it, i know i have and although we both cried, we both got ovr it, eventually, are you still a little bit peeved over the thing with other half cause you are prob close to tears anyway..........0 -
If someone can tell me how to post a photo from photobucket I'll post a pic of DD1's birthday cake I made.
Not been flying the last few days, been busy making cake, getting over cold, working (was very very very very busy last night...I work at M&S...say no more!!!) and running round after the girls. Serious flying being done tomorrow afternoon after birthday party in the morning.0 -

I've done that myself. Don't feel guilty - I bet most mums have done it. The best way to cut the nails is to bite them off as they are so soft.0 -
Zoey's plan of action, OK hmmmmmmmm let me see.
I need to get a hold of all Sineads toys and sort them out before they take over the room. This is the most urgent job so far I think,
