Ashia - if you fancy a lift to Lidl I might be going - fancy some stollen after Lil me reminded me.
By the way Lil me I actually had some stollen left over after Xmas last year and it made fantastic bread pud.
Not much flying this week, have had very painful sinuses and very little sleep. Will now be getting on with clearing and scrubbing out DS's room, after DH has dismantled the bed so I can get to the window frames. Then we are moving the PC and book shelves into there to make a study area.
Of to get dressed - no I haven't been having a lay-in, I got up earlier but DH has had one so I've been pottering around in my dressing gown.
Lots of S&S to do today.
Empty DW
Put away ironing
Meal Plan
List pressies still to arrange
By the way the snow has just arrived:j :j0 -
TAG - OMG, I hope delegate happens...thats a MASSIVE list!Now MARRIED!11/09/100

Morning all (it is still morning isn't it?)
More snow overnight. It looks very pretty but I aint going out! Heard someone on radio saying he had had a 38mile drive on a skating rink to get to the studio:eek:
Just had brekkie and must go for a shower and dress. If I wake up will be back to look at the list and (maybe) make a plan.
Hugs to the poorlies.0 -
Good morning all
Been up a while with the puppies, but not done much yet. Got a muzzy head!
Johanne - don't feel too bad about it. (you're probably fairly emotional at the moment as well) We've all done similar. In fact, I once ran over my daughter's foot. I'd dropped her off at school (we'd moved to another town but were keeping her at the same school till the year end) she headed in the gate but ran back to ask me something as I pulled away!
Denise - I hate to admit it but when I played the clip, I can actually remember the tune!
Soappie - Glad to hear you're a bit better but take care not to do too much too soon. (And anyone else who is still feeling ill)Wow ITV Paul Young, 'Now that's what I call 1983!' wish I'd known this was on earlier! I hope it gets repeated.
I was disappointed. He was the only one who mimed! I used to like him, but maybe he thinks he's special!
Sunnygirl - Love the cake!
Hollyh - where do you live? I missed him doing the same last week. I go over to Bristol maybe once a month at stupid o'clock to collect DD after a night out, usually doing a taxi run via Nailsea as well! (I do have a 7-seater). Having lived in the Bristol area 3 times for a total of 15 years I know it like the back of my hand. I wouldn't be happy doing it if I had small people but DS comes along for the ride as he doesn;t sleep well, keeps me company and we get over the bridge free if he's with me!:p
Whoa! TAG - definitely some delegation called for with that list!
Still no snow here - just very cold. And I'm still the only one up and about but:
Dishwasher emptied
Dogs, cats, fish, puppies and me fed.
Coffee pot ready to go
Kitchen swished and swiped.
Right - enough procrastination. Anothe cup of tea and the ironing pile!
