That's another thing I don't like! (along with ice cream) I love chocolate though...
    Funny old thing aren't I?
I have had a bath and am snuggled in pjs and dressing gown (with hood) because I have changed the bed AND done the bedroom.
    Tis an oasis of calm!

Re the clutter thing - you need to be ruthless. The thing with clutter is you look at it and see what you paid for it or think of the donor and then feel guilty getting rid of it. Well it is a millstone round your neck and a burden. I have got rid of loads of stuff - because I can't be bothered to e bay it it has mostly gone to Help the Aged. Let someone else dust it! Life's too short.
And the best way to clear is to get someone else to do it...I used to do my sisters...no emotional attachment. No guilt sending unworn still labelled clothes to charity.
Serena's 15 minute chuck also works well. Focus on one drawer/area/shelf and sort.
At one time though I never threw anything away...

 OMG, you've been to my house haven't you?, either that or you can read my mind!!

2 Judo runs done, one to go so time for a quick cuppa - it gets colder every time I go out the house today (and I've been in and out like a weather woman).

Just had a brainwave of getting DS3 a judo suit for one of his present - I try to match like for like eg - all get a bit of sports clothing - DS1 needs golf jumper or trousers and DS2 is having a footie shirt and joggers. Lady who runs the club will order it so I just have to collect it - great.

  • Well, since I am seriously underwhelmed by "I'm a Celebrity", I'm going to watch Corrie, do a bit of knitting, then go for a bubble bath and a real hot chocolate. DH can collect DS at 10.00 for me coz it's getting seriously cold here. And then - to bed.

Plan for tomorrow is that I will vacuum upstairs, keeping myself out of the way, while the boys take up the living room carpet. Then DH can do a tip trip with that and a few other bits and pieces, but he can vac up the dust downstairs after lifting the carpet coz I'm not going to risk it at the moment.

The ironing is on hold until tomorrow as I'm shattered.

Anyway, hugs to anyone needing them, get well wishes to those poorly ones, and goodnight, God Bless to all. x

PS Not been to that Weatherspoon's but The John Fielding in Cwmbran is supposed to be good, and I have been to the one in Chepstow, but the Harvester at the roundabout between Pontypool and Abergavenny is very nice (near MaccyD's and the new Travelodge)

I shall try the 15 minute thing, but I'm usually an all or nothing gal! Which is probably my problem :rotfl: I don't feel guilty about throwing things away, well maybe I do. I just can't see the point of giving things away that I like and when I finally organise my house I will use. Just feels like a waste of money when people say to get rid of it all and buy new :o

Really need to get down in the basement and sort that out, now I know there is junk mixed in with stuff I want to keep...it's just finding time when I can get down there without small child and get on with it for a few hours. I have enough shelf space for loads of labled boxes :D

    Thanks!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
