Had to show you what we were up to yesterday:

It smells loooooooooooooooooooooooooovely! Just firing up the cooker part of Stanley to cook it, means the kitchen will be nice and warm as well :)

  • Crafty how are you now after your 'tooth' episode
    Morning L-L.
I'm feeling much better thank you.
Doctor said it was possibly shock reaction to the extraction and a friend I saw yesterday said the same thing happened to her (only once) many years ago. Easier to deal with when you know 'why'.
More to the point - how are you?

    We got
    snow!
Looks very pretty, but glad I am not going out.

Off to tackle the bedroom before the urge to fly wears off.

    gryfon - aaawww! cutie!!

soappie - hugs. take it very gently

    We've got...rain :rotfl:

Thanks Craftyscholar, she was very good at mixing and didn't flick anything out of the bowl like her older brother and sister usually manage to do

Ok I'm going to change the baby, take my brother to his day centre place then go down to my parents to try and find my dad's driving license. Mum realised as I was taking them to the airport that she didn't have it and he would like it so he can drive the hire car when they get back to England. Oh and pay a bill in for them.

    Morning all

I got up about 8 when DH set off for work but have been pottering...washing up is done and WM is on. Have also spoken to my dad and discovered some theatre tickets that DH was moaning hadn't come (think I'd 'tidied' them away) :rotfl:
DH wants to help out with a deep clean this weekend :T so I'm not going to do too much today but I didn't get the bathroom done yesterday so my plan is:

    bathroom:
    bath/sink/loo/tiles
    windowsill/ledges/shelf
    window
    mirrors

    extras:
    empty bins
    rubbish out
    recycling into boxes
    tidy lounge coffee table
    hang up wet washing
fold & put away dry washing
email landlord for update on toilet
    S&S kitchen
    take coppers to post office
    shredding
    phone Gran
    phone dad

I have a dental appointment for a filling at 12 and think I'll walk there (about 30 mins) and then get the bus into town and try and do a bit of xmas shopping. I wish i'd not booked it for 12 it takes up so much of the day!!

Oh dear, just had a call from my BFs parents, they are coming over from Cyprus on Monday to stay with us for 10 days...the cleaning has not been up to scratch as I've been poorly so I have to get cleaning now! My basics list

    Wash bedding for spare room
    Mop kitchen, bathroom floors
Damp dust living room and all window sills (am allergic to most cleaning products, so just use a damp cloth)
Sweep/vacuum living room, hallway, study/spare room

If they get done then will start on some extras. Wish me luck!

PS I think I am confused by the card thing- I thought we were to give our name to Pigpen if interested and she'd set us up with one person to send to (eg a to b, b to c, c to d, d to e, and so on) or in pairs (a to b and b to a, c to d and d to c and so on), not a card for everyone . I will just be sending you all a Christmas message on here :).
