  • Morning all
I was doing well with my replies last night even if it was waaaaaaay past my bedtime and then I lost my connection again but I managed to save it so I didnt have to do it all again!

poohbear well done on the weight loss -sorry to hear about your friend - as lil_me said she doesnt sound as if she is being very considerate given that you have been not well - she should be trying to cheer you up not condem you - I bet if it was the other way around you would be making allowances for her and doing your best to help her. Vallium indeed - does she have a medical degree??? As for us getting fed up - dont ever think like that - thats what is so good about the thread - you can moan until ....... and nobody will mind. Be selfish and concentrate on making yourself feel better and and let her stew until you feel up to having it out with her or not as the case maybe!!
G&B goodluck with the studying for the exams - sending positive vibes your way.
johanne - even the hours with your family member count as pratice and thats what its all about - could the same family member take you out a few times to get you started and refresh your memory before you start paying for proper lessons?
rach glad your day turned out better - how long before Dh gets his results? He must be soooo please to be finished the studying!
pink fairy good idea to go and see your GP and have agood chat about everything - you are maybe expecting too much of yourself - Am i right in thinking its pleurisy - it can be very debilitating so plenty rest!!
greenbee glad the work at home is making progress - allbeit slow progress - you can use my WM anytime!!!! And take some watchimacallit .....echinea and chase away that man-flu ....pronto!!!
skintscotslass lovely to see you posting and you sound so happy with life - even if you do have a wee kitchen - glad Uni is going so well - I really admire you for doing it later in life - I wish I had. keep in touch xx
ZLS1984 (((((((hugs))))))) no wonder you are knackered - that is some walking time!! the others have probably said this but just in case --- BABY STEPS - dont know how long you have before you go into hospital so its difficult to know what you can manage - dont wear yourself out - first of all make sure you have everything YOU need ready to go in - and all other domestic arrangements are organised - as for the house then its little chunks when you feel up to it. When you get home from school have a rest anda cuppa and plan your day and if that includes a nap then do it! no matter how small a job you do it will eventually begin to make a difference - try to have your bedroom tidy for coming home so that you can rest in a relaxed atmosphere - DO NOT TRY TO DO THE WHOLE HOUSE IN ONE GO!!!! little and often and you will get there - come on here and post what you have done - forget what you havent done - do HHc's with us and then rest. HTH
menolly glad you got rid of the virus - I think I need to do a scan as I am having problems and everything is so s l o w!!!!
triker sorry to hear you being down and having carp time at work - and the mess at home wont be helping either? will the kitchen be finished this weekend or at least more habitable?
pigpen well done on your progress - what kind of charger - I have a few spare lying about. I cant remember if I said so will do so again - your wee DD (with the umbrella) is gorgeous - lovely big eyes and looks so happy - how could you doubt yourself being a good mum - she has 'loved' and 'cared for' written all over her! xx

off to catch up a bit more!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

    welcome mummy2

this thread is lovely, everyone is great and it's much more manageable than the american flylady emails! Each day pigpen adds a list to the first post and you can choose which level to try. The lists are just a guide, not a 'have to'!!

Toots is our usual welcomer, but I know her internet is a bit glitchy at the moment!

toots- DH doesn't get the results til end of Jan but unfortunately there's another set of exams in may so he's only having a couple of weeks off before starting again! Then one final case study exam next november. He's happy that one lot are down though and thinks he's done ok (he's a very clever chappy!) I'm taking him out for a curry tonight and we're hoping to go for a walk tomorrow :D

I really should move and get a shower, hang up the washing and put the rubbish out on my way!

toots-Thanks for that sound advice. I did fret during the night then this morning an old, old friend rang and is coming round later.

    welcome mummy2

rach have a good night out tonight.

carol how are you doing today? I hope things are a bit better.

I love Master bedroom day. It means I have an even better reason for staying up here! I never have much to do either so it is the easy day. DD is studying and future SIL is doing the washing today.

The thing I am going to change today is that I am going to think positive and be thankful for all the good things in my life.
