Lady Liberty - a delicate suggestion but is private treatment an option? When DH did his back we had PHI but we saw the bills, including scans, consultants, physio, fairly major surgery and a couple of nights in a bupa hospital came in at about £3k. Sorry if this has offended you but it was less than we expected (and incidentally was less than we had paid out in PHI costs over the five years!).
Thanks Hex of course you havn't offended me, all suggestions gratefully received & it is something worth looking into x“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0
