Soappie if you don't fancy a G&T it's serious, hope you feel better soon

G&t doesn't come into my radar at the mo. Just having a lemsip to try and curb the symptoms for a short while so I can get something to eat. I've hardly eaten all day and feel rough because of that too. When DS get back though, I might just send him up the corner shop for a quarter bottle of medicinal brandy.... topped up with hot water, it should help.

Hugs poohbear - I'm sorry your friend has upset you - I'm sure you won't have been making her feel bad deliberately - maybe she's unhappy at the moment and was taking it out on you:confused: Anyway, you are better than that, you are a lovely lady - tell your DH you need some extra cuddles and pampering and go and do something just for you.

Poohbear hugs, I hope your friend thinks about what she has said, and you sort it all out.

Johanne I learnt to drive years ago at college, the student union employed a driving instructor, good luck with what ever you sort out, but go for it.

Pigpen thanks you made me laugh among the tears and sn+t !!Thanks julejim, lil_me and kazwookie and everyone else. DH has run the bath for me and DS2 has made spag bol, not the meal plan meal but one he can make without help.

I think I need lavender in my bath to help me relax.

I'll hear nothing of the sort..

    1. if she was a halfway decent human being let alone friend she would be there for you whether it was good times or bad.. a friend is for life not just for the good times!

    2. if that is what she thinks f*** her!! Sounds like she lacks social skills and empathy.. what would you do in her shoes? Be rude and upset a friend or be sympathetic and do your best to cheer them up?

    3. A plague of leeches upon her!!! and a dose of jock itch!

Moan at us all you like if we get fed up we will tell you.. but I can't see that happening anytime this century!!

I'll second you, Pigpen. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest her armpits! :D

Poohbear - enjoy your bubbly bath and your spag bol. You have a lovely caring family, (and us lot :p) so she can take a long walk off a short pier!

Anyone here that knows about mincemeat...says to put almonds in but I'm not sure whether to soak them to get rid of the skin first?

Aaaaaaaaaah Pooh squishy hugs - wish I was nearer I'd come and sit in pooh corner with you and poke sticks at people. You have a wonderful close family and you have had a lot of problems this year. Try not to dwell on the the phone call (cause I'd replay it in my head about 101 times .. stop doing it now) can you have a glass of wine? Enjoy your bath
