i ordered mine on the 11th nov, at 1:13pm, just had the usual automated email saying they recieved order and deliver it by 22 nov, has anyone recieved theirs yet

You are right of course.... and also getting an xbox chipped means a host of other cool stuff like using it as a PVR to record telly programmes, replace the media center etc for playing mp3 and viewing your digital pics and so on

Havent done it, but for PVR modification its cracking value....albeit a bit techy for most folks.... but with the bundles out there now on xbox would be a good option for the tech savvy!

Ordered mine on 11/11, not sure of the time the order went through, but my e-mail from Boots with the order's details was timed at 09:15.

It did have the "deliver by" date as 22/11, but it arrived this morning.

Found that it plays DVD+/- RW's so that saves me a few quid now I don't need to get a stand alone DVD player to do the same. ;D

I ordered mine on 11th November at about midday.

Email said the same thing, delivery expected by 22nd November. Knock on the door this morning, there it was! Well pleased!! Good timing as it's my birthday today!

Unless you have an email specifically cancelling your order, you should be OK. If you log into to Boots website and check order status, 'being processed' means it is currently being processed in the warehouse. Once it's got to this stage I'd be surprised if they cancelled it.

i put down a deposit one one of these lovely machines a few days back at game and was told they would give me a ring when they get it in. which would probably be this weekend or next..... so fingers crossed.

Official update from PlayStation regarding availability of the new slimline PlayStation 2 this Christmas.  

We are experiencing temporary shortages of the new Slimline PS2 console. These have been caused by production and shipping delays plus the overwhelming demand that we have experienced for this new machine.


At this time there is no stock of PlayStation 2. However special measures have been put in place to overcome the gap in stock, and we will be re-supplying our retailers at the beginning of December. To avoid disappointment, we will keep customers informed as stock arrives in the lead up to Christmas. Please keep checking with this website in order to receive the very latest information as it becomes available.

Me too - ordered on the 11th and paid an extra £5.50 for delivery Saturday 13th. Site still showing "Being Processed". Would phone customer services but scared they pick up on the 20% discount :-X
