I suppose they could have picked the topic up from Google and joined to rant but it is strange and not helpful.

Very true how easy dealing with your own DMP is also quite flexible I can be a bit naughty and chisel away the little ones which is a bit of a morale booster.

exactly - its a great feeling getting them paid off one at a time - although now i have the huuuuge large ones left to pay .. buggar! haha

and think its sheer coincidence all the payplan haters joined today, i've been secretly snooping for ages but only decided to sign up today (before i clocked the payplan topic) ;)

I don't think you can be classed as above to be honest despite your bad experience you have the grace to acknowledge it works for others. I am glad you did join though its nice to have other self managed people around I feel lost amongst CCCS and Payplan sometimes!

    We'll stick together then ;)

Yes my experience of Payplan was bad but heck it works for some people.

Think in addition I'm too much of a control freak to let someone else run my finances so doing my own DMP suits me fine!!

As far as I am aware, Payplan are not actually a charity, they are a limited company. They are not listed on the Charity Commission website.
