Pinky thanks for the info on the tax stamps...might be starting that in new yr?? I havent been to ELC yet so hope i do get some nice bits for dd - might be able to get some bits to put away for partys etc if there is some good bits in the sale...
Have done my budget for the mth.. Really hope it all goes well and it includes a extra £100 over the min payments on the cc :j. I have done a online shop at tesco for all the cleaning bits etc and things that we like from tesco but not from aldi (like rice...) Set myself £100 and with the delivery it should be about £102 so not to bad. Includes baby milk etc for the rest of the mth so not to bad - then i am going to draw out the rest of our money for the shopping and going to Aldi once a week for fresh and meals etc.... So will see how this goes this mth....
Also plan to draw out all cash for the mth and put into seperate envelopes so i can see how the budget is going etc and when its gone its gone!! DH has told me to hide it from him so he isnt tempted to take any  so they will be well hidden and he is going to be given his amount per week bless him....
Have got two sealed tins - a big one for all silver - which i will cash up near the holidays and then when one is full/its june then ill start one for treats etc for christmas. I also have a smaller one which i will put all £2 coins into for next christmas. Will also use any extra £1 coins to get stamps from tesco/co-op.
I have a list of things i want to get done to help me get organised so ill pop some on here so i can keep up with them:
[STRIKE]
* Fill in new calander (thanks pips mum :A) With all dates for next yr
* Do a list in filofax of bdays and any ideas so can look in shops for bargains
* Do same for next christmas
[/STRIKE]
* Buy new calender for filofax
Im off looking for new tiles on the homebase website to spend my vouchers onGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -

So filled in the callender etc. just got to buy the new diary bit for my filofax....
I'm a happy Mummy today. We have been out shopping for house bits. Managed to get a real bargain in b&q got all the tile for the kitchen for £35!!! They havent got them in stock so we had to order them and even the man who ordered them thinks they must have been mispriced to be that low :j We also went to homebase to spend our christmas vouchers - managed to get a new light for the living room (the metal ones, which dh is corently trying to fit and has just tried it and its not working so i think there might be some shouting soon) We got new flooring and underlay for the kitchen and hallyway, and new lights for the kitchen. We still have £70 left so that will help with some new paint when the tiles are done and also for the growt etc for the tiles to be put up.....when ever they turn up.....:j So now i cant wait for them to turn up and for everything to be finished
Going to the shops tomorrow to sort out the presents for dd2 bday and to take back some presents to change for the bigger sizes. Also want to have alook in the sales as i still have some vouchers from my bday which i havent spent...
On dfw front i have: Done scratch card, checked online banking and looked for some surveys. Also added some change to the pot....:cool:GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. thank you both!
Well last night dh managed to get the living room light working fine butwhen he has tried the kitchen one there is three sets of wires coming downand he could get the light to work but the light switch wouldnt turn it of
Also if the wires are not in right then the light in the living room and the hall do not work
So we have no idea whats going on there!!! Going to have a look again tomorrow to see if he can work it out and if not it will be a call out for a electrician!! When we had a new kitchen fitted we was told all the wiring for the plugs etc were a mess and bodged together and not safe so had to be all redone!! Got a feeling the same person has bodged the lights!! Ohwell......
Didnt go to the shops today as i forgot we had a party to go to. The kids had a great time. Might try and go in the morning. Its my dads 50th tomorrow so we are going for a meal in the afternoon - which should be good. Then on sat night we are having a night out for his bday partyhavent been out for ages!!!
Anyway off to see the new year in with my dh and we might get the kids up at midnight...not to sure yet though....
Happy new year everyone and i hope you all have a great 2010!!! :j:D:jGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0
