ARRR why is it one thing after the other this mth!! BT have suddenly decided they are going to change the way they are charging people - they have been charging a mth from the date you started with them and now they want to do it a from the 1st of the mth. I started on the 27th so i have suddlenly got a bill for double (phone and broadband!!) which is coming out on the 12th!! They say they have sent letters to warn everyone but lots of people havent got them because of the strikes!! Grrrr just peed me of coz its a tight mth anyway!! and just before christmas!
anyway had my rant now!!GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Well finally have been paid for Freyas child benifit!! She is only 30 weeks old now!! Well its back dated so have had a nice amount and will be using that for christmas presents (and also i think i might need some to help through this mth  but will see how i get on) Tesco have taken there payment for £128 but egg also want a payment for £100 so things just keep adding up at the moe!! But at least thats more of the debt
:D Its good to know now what ever i pay on the egg card will be the debt going down and not most of it on interest :j
Yesterday dd1 got sent home from school as she is poorly - she was a bit poorly on monday but i risked sending her back as i though she was better but she wasnt!! Ohwell. She seems fine today typically but i didnt want to send her in incase she gets bad and they have to call again - how bad a mummy would i look if they had to again... We have a fireworks show in the village tonight and i migth still take her if she is ok (bad as she hasnt been to school!!) But the 5th November is a very hard and horrible day for me and dh (brings back VERY bad memories) and we have been trying to make happy new memories for the last few yrs so the bad ones might fade away...........Atleast we are no longer trying to forget the bad by spending far far to much money and buying lots of new things...
(ok well thats the nearest i have come to talking about it in a long while....)
Anyway going to keep nice and busy today and do lots of housework and lots of playing with my lovely girls xGC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -

Thanks pipsmum - i got through it!! Now can move on and think about fun things like christmas
I have £97.57 left on a cc which is charging interest then the rest is all on 0% now:D:D I will pay that of next mth and then I can know all my payments are going 100% to the debt :j:j A bit of good news..
Still going to be tight this mth as i have worked out i am paying over £300 extra on double bills!! arr all on the one basic mth!! No wonder i am going to have to use some of the extra money i got back dated
Dh is working loads of overtime this mth so that we can have more for christmas so hopefully make it back up......GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Not much going on at the moe as per!! Feel like i am plodding along all the time!! I think its stressful as i feel like im spending to much as spending on xmas presents - but i had the money ready for it and now i think i feel a bit guilty as i could have used it to pay of some debt instead....
First thing for me to do is pay the last of the abbey cc. I hope ill be able to do it with the extra from next mth.
It's been a yr since i had my LBM and im not sure i have got that farI no i have and are overall debt has gone down by about 4/5k so its improvements but i just want it gone!!lol Will just keep at it!

I know how you feel bout spending on xmas pressies......i am putting buying pressies off as i like seeing the amount in the bank account!!!!
I am trying to not spend all that i have saved by getting creative with pressies (spesh when i have nieces and nephews that are so spoilt there isnt actually anything left to buy them) and then any money left over we will put towards the debts.
and to reduce your debt by that much in a year is fantastic so well done you!!!! least you didnt add to it like me........:o:o:o:oDecember 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22
