Hey there mummy - just read your diary and it is fab - you are doing so well and should be proud of yourself! It is hard at the best of times to get organised I know as I have 3 myself! I too feel guilt about buying xmas pressies and have cut back loads this year!! When is the next little one due? :j

  • hi pinky - sorry its taken me sooo long to reply!! I have been useless at the moe...feel bad with all the spending going on - even if it is planned......... baby no4 is due in April when dd3 will be one (they might end up sharing a bday :) )

Got a few more voushers today, got a argos one and its a gift card but a cardboard one.....hope it works was from ipoints..... Was going to give it to one of my cousins but think ill use it for a present and stick to the HMV ones for the cousins......

Going to start a new diary in the new year with lots of new yr resolutions - which will be stuck to and going to try and make 2010 a good debt busting yr.... even with the new baby etc...

Slight problem with dh and his work again.... He worked lots a nd lots last mth so that he would get lots of overtime for xmas...and surprise surprise he hasnt been paid it!!! He got £100 extra and told they were back dating it from time he had of in September (when i had swineflu!!) Typical that they had to do it this mth (they no he has kids and its xmas etc etc ) and without any warning!! They made a excuses that the lady who does wadges didnt notice till this mth so thats why its taken so long!!! Any way so dh is really not very happy with it so is now not going to do any over time for as long as he can (but he does now also owe then 3 sats for something else which they have suddenly found...!!!) So no overtime to help with the debts!! He really wants to go Self emplyed but he knows its not a great time and also we would need a bit of savings for any time he couldnt get work etc so we will be looking into that. He might go self employed - part time...... See what he can get and also looking into do a plastering course so he can help his brother who has loads of work going.......will see as thats a expense to start with.....

Am thinking i need to write down things that i need to do aswell as i then might get round to doing them.....will see!!

Well today I havent done a lot to help become dfw!! done the normal scratchys etc... Been to some garden centers and dh is a NIGHTMARE when it comes to christmas bits - i have to calm him down and im sure our house would be one of them ones you take the kids to see if he had his way.... well he got a few bits but not to many and didnt spend to much!!! But i think my electric bill will be up this mth :p

Tomorrow was a planned (massive as my mum gave me it) Roast lamb but we are going to a carol service with my dad and he has said we should go for pizza after :D yum yum

I have kept some of my birthday money as i want to put it towards a new carpet in the living room in jan. Cant wait as ours is Horrible... also got a late card from my aunty today and it has a cheque for £25 which is how much i still have left on my abbey card (after i have made this mths payment) So i am going to put that straight onto the cc!! Dh will say i shouldnt use it for debt as its for me but i got lots so i will feel happy to have that one cleared :j:j:j

anyway im going on again!! So here is a little list of what i need to do tomorrow so i will do it!!

    WM - on/hang wet/put away dry
    DW - load/unload
    hoover lr
    sweep and mop hall/kitchen
write xmas cards and thank you cards
sort/put away the pile of things that have appeared on table :p

that will do for a sunday (and if i do them all it might make me stick to it for a monday list........will see)

oh just remembered any of the mummys - do you become VERY itchy when preggers?? I cant stop it!! arr and its worse in the evening - not sure if its because im to busy in day so its not as bad when i sit down at night......

Hi Mummy - you are doing so well.
I know how:mad: you must be when overtime isnt paid. My DH was due to work this sat for extra and they cancelled at the last mo - money we could have done with this month!! I hate jan cause we always skint - my new years resolution will be
    - stay out of overdrafts
    - budget for next xmas lol
    - pay off at least half my ccard this year
    hmmm wishful thinking.
Ps on the overtime front I got DH a little diary and he writes in it all overtime he does so it nevers gets forgotton!

  • The itching is driving me crazy!!! Was thinking it might be because your skin gets etra sensitive so something might be making it bad....ill mention it next time thought....reminded me im sure i have a appointment before xmas so better check when....

Yeah i have got a him a diary so he could pop it all in as they used to be really bad and so did he forgetting when he had worked!!!! But this time its because of time of he has had but the fact it has taken them 3/4mths to take the money back and its this mth without warning is what has upset him!! They should have atleast told him when she done the wages or said they would take half this mth and half next!! ohwell!!!

done scratchy and got 60p!! Every little helps :)

Going to do a bit of housework before we go out later...
