Today im soo tired!! Have been to a christmas party this morning (one of the toddler groups) DD2 isnt keen on santa but his visit today i think has made it a little better for her.....will see she really is worried about him coming in her bed room when she is asleep  so lunch was only a snack as they had eaten loads at the party
this evening dd1 is at a friends for tea so she is sorted and as for us.......i have no idea!!! I normally go to the shops today but couldnt face all the snowso do not have loads!! I have a bit of lamb left from yesterdays roast but no ideas what to do with it......will have to have a think - and soon.
Been working out the budget for next mth as im really going to have to stick to it again!! Feel like we have no money and need to up our savings...
Just want some of this debt gone!! Feel like its a never ending battle  But i must keep fighting it and hope will get there in the end............far far away........
Well better go and sort something for dinner..GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Ok so i was very naughty yesterday and me and dh ended up having a chinesse spent £15 of my bday money on it
Ohwell it was yummy!! Naughty mummy....
Today I am stuck in the village again! as our road is just a nightmare and im not even going to risk driving in it!! Will have to tomorrow though as i dont have all my christmas food.....
After Ready pinky15's idea of keeping a sealed tin for the holidays i think i might do it as the 6 weeks of is horrible if you havent got a few treatsthen do one after for christmas.....will see.
Have done a budget for next mth with what i think dh will be paid - but we no that can change so might have to change it a little when i find out - jan is always a hrad mth as they pay him this wed instead of the 1st so we have the money for longer.....But we havent run out of this mth budget yet so should be ok..
Better go and check the online banking and see how its all going....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
I am trying to tidy up and make the house all lovely for christmas (gonna take more then 3 days to make it lovely though
) and keep thinking of things i want to do to be more organised etc for next yr, so thought i better pop things down on here....so i dont forget...
* Sealed tin with any £2's in for next christmas...
* Sealed tin for change for summer and then christmas...
* Collect shopping stamps for tesco and co-op for next christmas...
* Make a budget each mth and stick to it!!
* Be more organised for Birthdays and christmas...
* Do online surveys... vouchers for christmas and birthdays
* More bingoport to earn vouchers for Amazon
* Do daily scratchcard and any winnings onto ccs
* Sell on Ebay!! must must do more this yr!! Any money made towards ccs and any important things we need to buy...
* Save all child benifit and taxcredits for my savings (tax, mot, insurances next christmas, house improvemts, paternity leave, emergencies etc)
* Would love to do more crafts and make cards and a few more presents......
* Cut shopping bills and not waste any food, do more baking...
* Keep house tidy and organised...
Will think of loads more im sure and add to it but just feel if i have a plan for 2010 i might make it a good organised year and make a dent in the debts
gotta go as dd3 has woken from nap so it must be lunch time...GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Yep mummy would def recommend the tin idea I thought maybe £20 as it had 2p and 10p etc also but couldnt believe £50 was dead chuffed. I too hate the summer hols when kids want to be out and about and think the tin will be a good start to the hols knowing you can have a few treats. We too have lots of snow so have enjoyed the sledging but DS doesnt know when to come in and hence ends up blue and cant feel his fingers and toes - will he ever learn (he's going to be a man so prob not!).
Many of the things you are planning to do are similar to my wants and aims next year. If I am careful I may be able to give up work whilst till little one goes to school in 2 yrs time. It is soo hard keeping on top of everything isnt it - I feel like go around in great big circles.
On the Chinese front - ohhh you bad girl lol! We budget for a takeway once per week as a treat so enjoy it you def deserve it!!!:j

ARRRR the car wont start!! We have been checking it will start and not had a problem with it till today when i need to go shopping!!! The battery is completly flat and will not start!! I just really hope it just needs a jump start and not a new battery
We got a new one not to long ago (about a yr i think) so i really hope it will be ok!!
So we now have no shopping (have a turkey but nothing else...) So either i will have to go later if dh can jump start the car or he will have to go! Either way it will cost more as my plan was going to aldi first to get some bits then tesco but now will just be tesco and if dh goes on his own who knows what he will spend!! arrrr and thats if there is any food left!!!
ohwell not alot i can do about it....:mad::mad:GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Oh dear hope you get the car sorted mummy - how annoying especially when you need to get your shopping and I know like me you will need to with all the little ones. Gone were the days the 2 of us would just survive on left overs and mum and dad lol! We went shopping yesterday and it was heaving was so so pleased I left DH and the little ones at home as couldnt have coped with all the complaining on top of the stress of shopping! Fingers crossed you get sorted x:jNov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450

No point worrying about it, not worth getting stressed out about.
Hope it starts though and hope you are being very careful on the ice as its really slippy where we are and I know you are not far away.

dh got the car to start by jump starting it with his van lucky and took it for a drive to recharge the battery! So glad it started. He has said he will get up extra early and go and hit the shops in the morning
So need to do a good list that can have everything we need on so he doesnt get to much more.... He said he doesnt want me to get up that early as he knows tomorrow is going to be extra busy and a late night and doesnt want me being knackard on christmas day...bless him.
Pips mum the ice is horrible!! Well its been raining so i think it will all be gone in the morning
Pinky i was going with my mum and the girls today so i know it would have been a nightmare!! Even though dd1 who hates shopping did say she will have to be extra good as santa was watching...GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr.
