Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to boss`s my OHs was the same when they paid him wrong last month. They missed off his oncall money which meant we were £600 short :mad: Thats ALOT of money, they dont seem to care though.

I was thinking about Xmas presents again, Can you knit?
I found some really cute messenger style bags, going to make some for friends. They are just 1 long piece of knitting that you then fold into 3 to make the 2 sides and flap and then just stitch up the sides. Going to make mine stripey with leftover wool :j:j

Boo to your DH's boss, my fella's boss is also very good at forgetting to pay the overtime, we have had to wait/harrass for it for well over 6 weeks.

Hope you had a good time away inspite of that!!!!

dh still hasnt mentioned about the overime!!:mad: but i think we will be fine money wise and so it can be paid next mth and put towards the debts :D

I really really want a sewing machine!! I have loads of things that i would like to make including xmas presents etc. Also i need t ge dd2 a new cover for her bed and they cost a fortune and cant find one to match dd1s, but i have two covers for the single size so was thinking i could make that to fit the cotbed size duvet  So i think in the long run it really would pay for it self and save us money.... but i really shouldnt spend the money in thefirst place  i was thinking maybe f we dont spend all the holiday money i could put some of that towards one?? or maybe ebay some bits and use that towards it so then its not to bad to spend out...????? ill have tosee when we come back.....

not really do to much mse apart from just not spending :D being sticking to meal plan and only buying what we need food wise. Got to go to tesco at some point as i want to buy some bits to take away with us rather then buying at the shop on site as im sure they can charge what ever they want....

anyway going to hit my hugh ironing pile today so that what ever we might want to bring will be ready to go....thats the plan but might end up doing it tonight when dds are in bed....

ok so keep coming on here today :o trying to hide from the house work!!
here is my ticker for the amout i want to pay of this yr.so im at 53% which isnt to bad... about where i should be so i hope i can stick to it and pay the 10k of.

first i want to deal with the abbey cc - which has gone back over the 1k mark!!(need to update my sig) due to the car tax and also house insurance!!
have decided i am going to work out a amount to put away for the house insurance, car tax etc etc so that i dont have to worry when the date turns up....will just take a little while to build up the amount and the car is due mot soon - so will have to decide whatto do about that...

Also i am going to put a little into one account each mth so that we can do things or get things for the house! I know this isnt debt busting etc but i feel like i am getting so fed up with things that need doing and i know in the end i just end up going and blowing money. so i hope this way i will be able to see things being done etc over time so will stop the impulse buys - first of i think we will save for some tiles for the kitchen (we have a nice new kitchen but no tiles on the wall!!! and the kitchen was done over a yr ago!!!) so i hope if we do this in a little while we might be able to afford it...... will put the car tax money etc into the isa (if only i had nice big savings to put in there!!) and the money for the house into my other savings account....

so the things i can spread over the yr

car tax: £38 (have heard it will be £400 next yr !!)
    MOT and service: £12
    house insurance: £20
    car insurance: £30
total £100 (which is the same as i wont be paying from next mth because of the house insurance and also the scs loan)

so if i put £100 a mth away i hope i will then be able to pay all these things when they crop up!! also might have a little extra for things like new tyres.....will see what i can put in for the house when i next do soa

ok better go and do some more house work before the school run...

Back from our holidays and had such a lovely time - just wish we could stay forever  Spent nearly all our spending money apart from a little which we are going to take the girls to a play park on sunday with as they were so upset leaving today :( My dad wante to treat me to a treatment at the spa or the beauty salon - so i decided to have my nails done and get my hair cut (a bit mse as i needed it doing anyway so saved me some money....)

Have checked my bank and have more in there then i thought so should be able to pay a little extra to the cc (need to check first that i havent forgoten anything....)

Have sold another book on amazon - every little helps...

Need to do a meal plan for the rest of the mth and also need it to be healthy as i have put on half a st when on my holidays :eek::eek:

So i am going to really work on losing weight and losing debt :p wish me luck...............................................................
