hello, pips mum thats lovely of you - thanks i will pm you. Having a nightmare with the feeding as Freya and me keep getting a infection which effects my milk supply!!! will hopefully get it all sorted one day! but she is having to be topped up with formular a little now which i didnt want but trying not to beat myself up to much as she is getting more then my other two got!! and the pump is good and helping me to keep feeding a bit :):)
So trying to sort out as mum spending money as possible for our holiday and then if we dont spend it all we can throw it at the debts when we get back!! thats the plan anyway :) we have some money left from this mth and dh is doing as much over time as he can to put towards it. How much do you think we will need for a week in center parcs??? we are going with my dad so im sure he will be getting dinner etc some nights and then we will other night.... Going to bring some food with us - like breakfast bits and drinks and snacks for the girls. Will have to have a think of other bits we can bring to help save costs when away. Will be nice going away with out adding to the debt etc.
Been shopping today - but didnt spend any thing again as my lovely dad brought everything - i needed to get dd her rainbows uniform (been meaning to for ages) and also wanted a growbag for Freya as she wriggles out of her covers - and dad paid for them both for me. He also got us all a mc d's so have had a lovely day and not spent anything. Dh has gone to a bbq so he will have spent on some beer im sure....
So i have the night to myself tonight - going to have a fun filled night feeding freya and watching britains got talent and going to bed as early as Freya will let me as i am soooo tired!! and Freya has been really good the last two night sleeping 10.30 till 5am so i can moan but still have some catching up to do.....
My nan is in hospital as she has had a operation on her back - its about a hr and a half away so feel bad i cant really go and visit but will go see her when she gets home.
Anyway freya is screaming so better go and see whats up...might be on later getting some more insperation for being more DFW......
    xx

  • Hey mummy. Just seen your signature, wow you have been busy!!!! one or two of your debts are nearly gone, well done you!!!!!:T

Sorry to hear you and freya keep getting poorly, just keep pumping to keep your supply up and you will be able to go back to fully feeding, my friend had to do it when she had an infection that made them both really ill when little, still breast feeding now at 8 months!

For my caravan holiday i am going to take £150 to be sure i have enough, the left over money will go towards the debt. Check out the old style board for ideas on mse ways to holiday with food etc...............(will pop a link in when i find it again!!)

keep up the good work hun,
    love rags

I am having BIG wobbes!!!! I really want(see want not need!!!) to get a new double pushchaire!! We were given one but its really heavy and hard to push - I want to get one so i can go on long walks (and not at toddler speed...) and maybe get rid of some of this baby weight!! But i dont really need one so no i shouldnt!! Also cant afford one so i cant get one!!!!!!!! but would be good for when we go away....NO NO NO

Anyway got that of my cheast and now i should hopefully not get one.... I am thinkin bout entering the race for life -i wated to before but i thought they were all this mth and hought it wouldbe to son after freya - but there is one in july......so i am thinking about it - will be good to raise some money for cancer research (my nan died of cancer so have alays wanted to) and also will make me do a little exercise....

The debt busting is on a slow at the moe - just min payments etc, lucky we did get a bit extra paid of at the begining of the yr to make up for his slow bit......

I have done a meal plan for the week and also a shopping list so hope to only get what we need. Last week dh went with me and we spent £120!!! so not going with him again... will try and do better tomorrow...

hi dueyb, b3nton and rags - thanks for the ideas. rags your oh sounds the complete oposite to mine!! mine hs to look at all the spices, cooking sauces etc etc etc and it takes for ever and we sound to much!! Need to go today really but i cant be botherd :o Freya wouldnt sleep till 1 and then was up at 5 and wouldnt sleep again till the girls were up so im a bit tired today!! But on a good front i havent had to give her any formular since yesteray morning :) - but i hope thats not why she was sooo bad at sleeping last night......

Got my bill for gas and electric and hey have lowered my dd to £56 from £124!!! so loads cheaper - ut i bet it will go back up when they review it again as i cant see it going down by that much!!

Rags i got my insuance from more then - they offer free contents with their buildings insurance, was loads cheaper for us. and i realised the broker who got us our mortage and aranged the house insurance when we moved in had been getting some money for eveytime we renewed!! so he prob is not happy we have changed it :)

Anyway Freya is fast asleep for the min so should prob go and get on with some house work...

  • Dont think my fella knows what a spice is!!!!:rotfl:

Will check out more than, cheers hun!!!!

and big YAY for not using formula yesterday, but doubt that will be the reason for being up, isnt she about that age where they suddenly have a growth spurt and are like bottomless pits where milk's concerned.......
