The parking fees at the hospital are horrendous. OH thought I was joking when I said I was going to try and walk down to the hospital (we are only 10 mins away) when I was in labour rather than pay for parking. BUT he then saw the cost and is now encouraging it!!!

Glad all was well with DD.
Hope you enjoyed your bath and a re now catching some well deserved ZZZZZs x x

so since earlier i have checked the online banking and the tesco cc - still havent taken the interest of for this mth so looks like i have paid more of then i really have.....Mum has transfered the full £300 that is the cost of the washing machien in curries so i am going to search high and low and see if i can get it cheaper (i think we had it for £259 or something) So i will have a little extra to pay to debts and will also use quidco for cashback etc..

Have cooked the chicken and just waiting for it to finish, think i will do a big load of curry so i can freeze lots and also keep some for the girls to have plain, also for lunch for dh tomorrow. Might even see about making a soup or something, going to see how far i can stretch it.

Noticed on freecycle somebody has offered lots of clothes for little girls so have asked for them, might as well get them see whats nice and keep for dd, said some next coats and shoes aswell.....
Got some samples of nappies through today - only two but will put away for baby all helps!!

Just going to put dd down for a nap as she seems really tired and then hit the kitchen, wash up and see what i can make from this chicken and do the bread!!

    catch up later.

  • Just ordered my new washing machine!!! Its coming on Fri so cant wait!! it was in currys for £294 and we got it for £250 from electrical123 and got it through quidco so will get 2% cash back aswell!!! so happy, will of course be putting the money towards the debts (half debts and half for paternity savings i think!!)

Anywya picked up the bits from freecycle and there are some lovey bits in there!! There is a summer dress which should fit this summer from 'the little white company' still with the tags on (price £22) Also some fifi pjs which are new with the tags aswell, dd loves fifi at the moe so will be very happy with them. There are lots i wouldnt want to keep as well but it was def worth going to pick them up!(did it when i had to pick dd1 up from rainbows anyway, so no waste in petrol!!) Did a scare with one of the other mums on the driving so only had one way to go! so saved petrol there aswell.

Cooked my chicken and there was sooo much meat on there i shocked myself!! I managed to do a big curry for tonight and there is loads to freeze (must go and do now....) and still have most of the two breasts to use(dds had some for there dinner)! Not to sure what i will do with them yet....might make a pie and have some for lunch tomorrow!?!???

Anyway dh has the day of tomorrow as they dont have any work for him!! But he will get paid so thats good, just hope the work does come in soon for the company as we live really far away so he uses the most petrol which cost them the most money so worried they might pick him if they needed to get rid of some one!!!!but hopefully it wont come to that and at the xmas do they did say they have work up till april but just not much for the first week back.

Anyway must go and put my curry in the freezer and go to bed!!

  • Well done on the washing machine and the cashback!!!!! should be a nice bit of money in a few months. Glad you got some clothes out of the pile, what are you going to do with the rest, ebay??

  • in the end i cooked the two lots of curry from the chicken and also made a big load of mixture which will be used for half a pie and also for a pasta bake, added some ham to it and sweetcorn, oinions and also some lentils!!! alos added them to the curry and dh didnt know they were there so happy they dont taste odd or anything, as long as they are well cooked they just blend in!! so four meal for the family and a meal for the kiddies out of one chicken!!!

Went to the market today and prob spent to much money but have some food in the freezer now so feel happy!! and have lots frozen ready for meals from the above cooking!!! :)

Got a voucher from gfk - said i had one it but not sure how!!! but its £2 amazon so cant moan - put towards the baby bits!!

done my scratches and daily clicks - lots are not sowing at the moe so not sure why that is but keep doing so the ones that do tract are earning a little money!!

Had sausages and mash from the market for dinner tonight - they were beef ones and i wasnt that keen (which is a pity as i have three more meals worth in the freezer!!!)

dds class have a no school uniform day tomorrow as a treat for doing well and can bring in a toy so i have to get earlier to sort out what to bring and wear as i didnt get time before bed (went to the drs and spent ages waiting!!!!)

Got my washing machine ariving tomorrow so very happy and looking forward to that!! Also offered our old one on freecycle as it will do some one for a while! had one lady email saying interested and to call her on her mob!!! not going to spend my phone bill sorting out for her to get my free washing machine!! (am i just being tight now???) will see if any one else asks for it and if not ill email her saying she can call me!!

realsied my cc didnt request the min payment last mth (only £7 and def was in there etc etc ) So i hope its not some muck up where i get charged!!! Need to call for a new card so might do that tomorrow and see what happened....

Anyway still havent made any bread but we have been doing fine without it, dd been having crackers and pita bread from freezer for her lunch..will def put some in tomorrow.

MUST ebay lots at the weekend or very soon....................
