I like Lakeside at Thurrock as it's you can get more bargains there. I much prefer it to Bluewater. I have not been there since 2006 though and that was before Primark. 3 levels of Primark sounds fab.The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

I much prefer Eldon Square in Newcastle to the Metro Centre as it has the entrances to Fenwicks and John Lewis as well as the usual stores and the main highstreet shopping area, Northunberland Street is just outside the entrance.0

I love the Metrocentre in Gateshead - has almost every shop I could wish for!
Loved the Trafford Centre too on a trip to Manchester.
Here in Scotland there's nothing as good but I do like Silverburn and Braehead in Glasgow.
Will be visiting Westfield when I go to London in February but will definitely hop back on the tube to get to TK Maxx and Primark in Hammersmith

CMK for me only because it's my nearest and I haven't tried others.
To be honest my sofa is pretty good too
I love shopping online:j 0 -
I always shop at the harlequin in Watford, and I love it much more than Brent Cross. You couldn't swing a cat in BC for the crowds!
My vote is also for the Harlequin Centre in Watford.
Its my nearest though I do go occasionally to Brent Cross. Apart from Fenwicks the Harlequin has everything that Brent Cross has and is more spread out and less crowded.
I will go to Westfield to have a look and also to the Eden centre which is quite new in High Wycombe.Born to shop;)0 -

I notice that The Victoria Centre Nottingham is advertised a lot at christmas. Don't bother, its awful. No Debenhams or Marks or BHS or Primark or decent eateries. Having said that Nottingham is lovely shopping place if you are prepared to walk. Everything is so spread out but we do have a lovely Market Square with Christmas Market and ice rink that I think opens this week.0

CMK is Central Milton Keynes
The shopping centre is offically known as The Centre:MK but often the centre is referred to locally as Central Shopping or the city centre
240 shops & all undercover (although Midsummer Place is open sided and can be a bit cold, the main centre is covered and warm, you can park for free at weekends in some areas, and there is plenty to do for a day of shopping and an evening out. Facilities for parents with babies and small children are good, with feeding & changing rooms in the main centre but also John Lewis have a small parents room too. Plenty of cafes, and open areas.
People often slate Milton Keynes, but it is a fantastic place to live, work & shop. These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0
